ahhhh, thank you so much for the update, he is such a wonderful boy and he was so good for us when he stayed with us for a couple of days, so glad that he is loved and happy :-) xxxx

Ronnie doing very well, he his settling in well love sleeping on the sofa and pushing the wife off. Does not jump much on the table now a very loving boy.

It was also lovely t c Ronnie n his new family again tday. He looks really happy. I also managed t try n overcharge his mom n dad by £55 lol. At least that's abit less than the £83 overcharge I did when his daddy signed him up. Think Ronnies owners myt want Ruth t use the till nxt tym lol. At least I recognized the mistake straight away this tym. X

Ronnie is now settling down, he's sleeping better and only wakes up when the neighbours do this is around 05.30am ! but he goes back to bed eventually, he loves his food and when given the chance ours as well, he is without doubt a character and you gave to be on your toes. will keep you all informed of his progress.x

To be fair to Sara, Ronnie was destroying the office at the time. Ronnie and us had a restless night and at 2am found the wife's 5ft toy white tiger, I've had some nights but never woke up watching a grey fight at to white tiger, dread to think what then neighbours thought with the wife shouting "John get Ronnie off the tiger".

Blimey Sara if you can overcharge someone by £83 and still send them away with a dog I think you should be in charge LOL. I hope Ronnie enjoys his new home :) J xx

I did Ronnies homing tday, well some off it.( thanx 4 doin all the paperwork in advance jill). He is goin t a fantastic home n his new daddy wasn't even put off by Ronnie tryin t trash the office in order t get at all the toys n anything else he cud find lol. I must apologise t his new daddy for accidentally over charging him by 83 pound. I did realise my mistake not long after u left. I have left a note for Ruth so that she can refund the money. I did think 275 pound was a little excessive. Sorry. Back t Ronnie. He was over the moon t b goin out. He jumped straight into the boot of the car, then jumped over onto the back seat n then decided he wud rather drive so took that seat lol. I really hope everything works out n u n sally become best buds n I kno ur new family will giv u all the love u so deserve. So happy for u. Lots of luv Sara x

i managed to say good bye to beautiful Ronnie yesterday when i was at the kennels for a few moments, he is still wearing the house collar i gave him and he came up to me for a cuddle and i disolved into tears, wish i could have given you a home my darling but am so happy that somebody else is able to do so and hope you will be as good for your new family as you were when you stayed with us. i love you lots little man and wish you all the love and luck in the world xxxxx

Ronnie is such a lovely boy who really needs a home in time for Christmas (its only 10 weeks you know LOL) Even with his eye condition, his sight is still brilliant ! and he would love a nice settee to put his paws upon. Ronnie stayed with us last week and was very clean in the house, he got on well and was left with our two during the day and no chewing shoes, remote controls etc: He is a very affectionate hound who enjoys being fussed. Unfortunately though he was found not to be cat friendly so sadly he had to return to the kennels.
His condition didn’t trouble him even when out on walks in the evening and the only sign of any problem was going down the stairs. He obviously hasn’t met or socialised with many other breeds but we found that with ours when they first moved in.
I hope someone will soon be able to offer him a home.
He also likes pigs’ ears and lager.

i can't sing Ronnie's praises enough, he really has been as good as gold whilst he has been with us, there has not been a single problem, he gets on well with the boys (greys), eats well, sleeps well, walks well, behaves well, is clean in the house, he is very loving and affectionate and very intelligent, eager to learn....whoever offers Ronnie a home will not regret it for a moment...i feel i am the one losing out by not being able to give him his forever home, i love him very much and hope with all my heart that he will be in his own home with his own mum very soon...xxx

Ronnie is the perfect house guest, he slept like a log and not a peep out of him, clean in the house overnight, just had his breakfast after which he went straight out in the garden to do what a hound has to do, he is absolutely lovely and i shall be in tears when i have to take him back tomorrow, please please please someone have the heart to give him a special home he will give you so much love and loyalty. xxxxx

because Ronnie is so upset when he is left at the kennels i brought him home with me tonight, he has been a star, met my three boys with lots of waggy tails, had a walk with Toby, then had a bit of tea, has explored the house and at present is fast asleep on one of the many hound beds in the living room. he is such a little darling and so very eager to please, loving and gentle and very clean....we would have him in an instant if we could afford to have a fourth dog but it's simply not possible, therefore i am hoping that someone will come and fall in love with this very special boy and give him the home life he so deserves, ideally someone with a dog already as he seems utterly content in the company of another hound...:-) xxxxx

Hi, I am so sorry to hear poor Ronnie was so upset, I didnt realise Kat had a new home, but so pleased to hear it, I'm sure she will be very happy with her new family, but poor Ronnie, I wish I could have him, his eye condition would not put me off at all, he is a gorgeous boy, Unfortunately I just have to be content with walking them and helping out for the time being anyway.

Ronnie was really crying when I left the kennels as he spent the day in the main run with Will (who was visiting with the hope of being picked by anyone visiting) and my greys. He just loves having company and as his kennel mate Kat went today, he was all on his ownsome lonesome :-( I really hope someone gives him a second look soon - he really is an amazingly brave and lovely boy.

So many girls chosen today, which is amazing.. But what about all of the daybreaks boys?? Like gorgeous ronnie? He is a stunning boy and so affectionate. Good on his lead and ok a tad stubborn when going back to his kennel... Only because he wants his own loving home and a family to love him! Someone please see past his condition, it only affects his eyes it does nothing to stop his enjoyment of life and he will make a superb companion for someone... As his vet has agreed to treat his condition for free.. Tanworth certainly isn't the other side of the world for a once a month trip. And he will be well worth it. Cracking boy. Someone please offer him the loving home he so deserves xxxxx

Ronnie was such a brave boy today. As he has an auto immune disease of his eyes he has to have injections directly into his eyes (as well as eye drops). Andre the track vet has said that anyone considering adopting Ronnie can be assured that he will treat this condition for free which is beyond generous. I really hope this fella will be chosen soon as he is a fabulous boy.

Ronnie was the lucky one of the three boys being castrated today - he is off to stop at Ray and Val's house tonight where he will be guaranteed lots of cuddles.

This boy is so loveable, Ronnies eyes don't bother him day to day, but due to the stress that racing brings it's time for this handsome boy to find a loving and caring family who can give him the care he needs. good luck Ronnie xxxx

Hi Becky - yes this fella has 2 very strange looking eyes.... he is not blind, however his sight is not good enough for him to race anymore. He has been checked by Andre the track vet and I am hoping to get a little more information on his condition. He is due to be castrated next week.

I felt so sad picking up Bunty and Ronnie yesterday as their wonderful trainer is very very ill and therefore all his greys are either being retired or transferred to another trainer. Ronnie and Bunty were two of their special greys and I hope to find them both wonderful homes soon. My thoughts are with trainer Steve and all his family.
