We had the same problem with our small lurcher destroying toys. The Wubba toys who are made by the people that make the kongs are quite good.Plastic squeaky ones lasted about 5 seconds and some of the stuffed toys faired a bit better but I do spenda lot of time sewing them up as she likes to pull the stuffing out of them!
An old rugby ball seemed to survive the longest.
Good luck to you all.

Thanks for your lovely comments! Yes I can confirm Parker is a Red dog and is settling in well. He is quite boisterous at the moment and a little unsure in his new home but with some patience I'm sure he will calm down a bit.
He is quiet at night and doesn't make a mess in the house, though he has destroyed all of his toys in about 5 minutes!
We will be bringing him on walks and to training classes soon and it will be great to meet some new people and dogs there.

We saw Parker on the website on Friday, loved his pictures, and took him for a walk at Stratford on Sunday. He is very handsome and we decided to give him a home :)
Hoping to bring him home on Wednesday, and can't wait to show him off in our village!
It was lovely to meet all the other dogs and owners at Stratford and we will definitely bring Parker on walks.

Totally agree with Linda his picture really doesn't show how handsome he is.
His colour and markings are stunning and his coat is thick and soft and no bare bum! He looks like he has been well looked after in his long racing career.
So pleased for him and I am sure he will turn heads wherever he goes.

Met Parker at the Stratford walk this morning. His photo is lovely but in the flesh he is just gorgeous. Fingers crossed that the couple who were interested (assume they have reserved him) get to take him home soon. x

Love that name! Handsome lad and what a lot of races.
Wonder if he 's a "Yes m'lady" kind of lad (for those of us old enough to remember.....). Maybe someone out there has a Lady Penelope just waiting for a companion..... xxx
