Absolutely devastating and heartbreaking. Take solace that they still together and running free and with no more pain. I truly hope that one day when you are ready that you will once again be able to open your heart and your home to another deserving grey and give them the love and care that you gave to Daisy and Rossi. How very, very sad. My heart is breaking for you. To lose both of them at the same time is devastating. The only comfort is that they will travel to the Bridge together. Run free Daisy and Rossi. Love and hugs Xx

It is with a heavy heart and tears streaming down my face that I have to let you know that I had to make the decision to let my beautiful Daisy as well as her brother Rossi go to rainbow bridge today...Rossi collapsed during the night and we found him motionless this morning...his eyes begged me to let him go...my Daisy girl has been struggling with her hind quarters for a while and all but collapsed last night trying to eat her tea...so it was only right to let them go together...they fell asleep in my arms knowing how much I love them and now they are free and happy at rainbow bridge running with my beloved boys McKenzie Merlin and Toby...RIP my precious babies...you will always be in my heart...xxx

it's been a month now that Daisy came to live with us and I can quite honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we have made in a long time. She has fitted in beautifully and the boys all love her, she has not given us a moments trouble and she has settled in so well that she appears to have lived here all her life. On Saturday we shall all go for a well deserved holiday to 'Swallow's Dance at LIttle Dumpledale farm' where i hope to be able to let her run off lead. :-) xxx

Hi Ina. Love to hear about Daisy and the boys. Our Emily is the same with Gent, washing his ears usually (what is it about little boys and dirty ears!!!!!), although my face comes under close inspection too if I get close enough. Sounds like Daisy was always meant to be with you and the boys. Hope to see you all soon. Mand, Gent & Emily xx

Just love the thought of Daisy 'mothering' the boys, sounds vaguely like our house, only 2hounds but hey 2 sofa's, thats us on the floor then or squashed on the end!!!
Love hearing the updates n SO pleased that she has settled so well.
Take care xx

Friday 27 Apr 18:56

a little update on Daisy, she is an amazing little girl full of love and joy of life. She loves everyone and 'mothers' the three big lumoxes by washing their faces and ears every morning, so incredibly sweet. Rossi and Daisy have now decided that they quite like sharing a sofa, Toby is on the other sofa and Mummy is currently on the floor on the cushions typing this...not that the hounds rule the roost at all...we would not like you to think that at all :-) xxx in two weeks time we are all going for our holidays to Little Dumpledale and I am sure Daisy will have a wonderful time. She is so much part of our family now that it seems inconceivable that she has not lived here all along....we are very lucky to have her :-) xxx

ahhh thanks Mand and co, - our Daisy has got herself her very own fan club, my neighbour and her daughter just adore her and came to visit her today just for a cuddle:-), she is so happy and so settled you would not believe that it's not even been a week since she came to live with us. gorgeous little Princess Daisy, we all love her to bits . xxx

Sunday 15 Apr 08:36

Hi Ina. Sorry I haven't been in touch earlier! So pleased to hear you got a little girlie to add to your pack. I can only imagine how much she'll be spoiled (just as she deserves). Her previous owners must have been very upset at having to return her and Jose, but can be reassured that she has found a very safe and loving home. She sounds like quite the little flirt and obviously has the boys wrapped around her paws! Hope to see you all soon. Love Mand, Gent & Emily

our Princess Daisy has now got her posh new name/address tag and she was left on her own today with the boys all day as Mum and dad had to go to work, needless to say she was golden, no mess not a thing out of place....what more can I say..she is PERFECT ....and she is mine, all mine :-) xxx

Wednesday 11 Apr 08:19

Daisy woke meup crying very early this morning, i let her out and she needed to go for a number 2, she is such a clever little girl. she seems to have calmed Mckenzie down a bit and at the moment she is sharing a bed with him....i can't believe what i am seeing, McKenzie does not 'share' anything with anyone....think she is a very good influence on my boys :-) xxx

our first proper day together and Daisy has been an absolute poppet, there is no way that she will ever leave this home again, she is here to stay for good. the boys adore her and McKenzie even allowed her to eat out of his bowl (never heard of before) she climbed into Toby's soft cage with him to give him a lick and even Rossi the grump has had lots of kisses from her. she ran out into the hall to greet her dad when he came home from work and made a fuss of him like she has always lived here. out walking she is golden, does not react to anything and trots alongside Toby just nicely, a pleasure to have the two out together. we are all very lucky that Toby fell in love with Daisy, i shall sign her up next time i am down the kennels :-) xxxx

Daisy has slept like a log and has eaten all her breakfast, she seems to be very settled but maybe she thinks that she is only here for a holiday and that she will go back to where she came from soon. there has been no grumbles with any of them and she has been golden :-) xxxx

Sunday 08 Apr 16:38

This is heartbreaking I hope there is some kind person out there that can take these two together to split them up after been together in home would be awful.
Cant imagine how the family are feeling and these poor babies, lets hope a little Day break magic is weaved so these two dont have to wait too long.

Sunday 08 Apr 16:25

Daisy and Jose are being returned together tomorrow. Daisy has been in a home since February 2008 and Jose since September 2008. A family member has developed an allergy to them sadly and it must be very difficult for their owners to return them because of this. They are arriving back at the kennels tomorrow (Monday).
