I have just had the most awful news that precious Dolly had a heart attack under anaesthetic and they could not revive her.
My heart breaks for her new family - such a shame she had so little time in her new home. xxx

They do sound like a couple from the 1940's.

Dolly has settled wonderfully with our other grey teddy (what a pair of names, thanks Ruth!).
Eating us out of house & home & they are behaving beautifully so far xxx
