It's with great sadness that I learned that Martie passed away on the 7th June at only 9 years old, he was Bertie's litter brother ( along with Dave and Michelle's Den and suzies Flossie ) he was the splitting image of his mom Mindy.
My brother and sister in law are devastated, he was completely fine in the morning and then suffered a huge heart attack completely out of the blue, from which he never recovered.
Run free Martie, you were such a good boy and so loved, Bertie and Blade will miss you as will all of us, run free my beauty xx

I am not surprised to see Martie has been rehomed so quickly, he is beautiful. so pleased I was able to meet him on Saturday and wonderful to know he will be seeing a lot of his lovely Brother Bertie. Mindy would be so happy for them both. xxx

Whoever has "won" him is very lucky ,a star of a greyhound and a lovely affectionate calm boy as well. What a wonderful way to end the birthday celebrations a rehoming which is exactly what Daybreaks is all about.Brilliant.

This boy is so handsome! I only saw you for brief moment today but well I can't wait to get a better look on Saturday!

What a lovely time we had today didn't we Martie? Such a big boy, but a real gentle giant who walks like an absolute dream on the lead, so relaxed and calm and stayed by my leg all the way down the lane and back. Hope you find your new home soon beautiful boy - you deserve a good retirement. xx

Martie is a copy of his mom you would think you had seen double, he will be of the same nature she was. We have Flossie (Flojo) Martie's sis. We did have also the lovely Mindy.

i used to train martie n most of the monkspath dogs and martie was the most loveable greyhound u could want!!won greyhound of the year few years ago!! find him a home he deserves it! love ya martie gnna really miss ya x
