Tess went in to Fivelands today for a much needed dental. Bless her, she only has the 4 canines left. She is recovering nicely and looking forward to going to her new home with Pepper next week. xx

Hello Tess. So sorry you have had to come back to the kennels but you will be well looked after. Hopefully a new sofa will come along very soon. I have sent a hug to Pepper which I have asked him to share with you. xx

Sadly due to a change in circumstances, Tess is being returned on Friday. If you think you could offer this girl a home please call. Her temperament is amazing, she is great with other dogs, can be left during the day and very affectionate.

caroline she is amazing! The most beautiful little girl you could wish to meet! Her piccy does her no justice. She is lovely with the other greys, the only time ive heard a peep out of her is when shes waiting for her walk, she is a bit stressed in kennels and i hope she finds a home very soon. She reminds me so much of my lucy id lover her for myself... But i have my quota at 3, an to be honest. i was pushing my luck with the 3rd! xxxx

Hi Caz & Max, I have just spoken to her trainer to find out about her temperament during her racing and she was great being kennelled with a male or female.

She has been really good at the kennels since she arrived and has met Cracker and Charlie (non greyhounds) belonging to Sara and she does not react. She sounds perfect for you but come along and see what you think x Ruth (sorry used the computer when skinnyme was logged in!)

hi Caroline, i was with Nellie when she met Sara's dog Charlie and she was as good as gold with him and he is not even a greyhound, she has met all my 4 greys and she was fine...sometimes dogs get labelled by trainers as not other dog friendly and it does them a real disfavour. My McKenzie came with the same label and he came to live with us when we still had our old boy Monty ( a non grey) and also Rossi and Toby. since then we lost Monty but have got ~Daisy, he has also had Ruth's Joe staying for his holidays and has had other dogs in the house and has been no problems....i would imagine that Nellie is much the same...why not just pop over with Max aand see he likes her and she likes him, its the only way to find out for sure. good luck...Ina and her four rascals :-) xxx

you could follow the advice given to you for Max tie her to a tree and see what happens when Max goes near her!!!!! (think not)

I have been told that she needs to be kennelled on her own, so her trainer said,I'm a little concerned about Max, wouldn't want him to be hurt. Can Ruth or any of the regular helps tell me if she is ok with the bother

Nellie is an absolute darling. Walks beautifully, and is calm and quiet and loves a fuss. She is small and fine and so pretty. Fingers crossed for you my lovely girl. xx
