Just seeing Joe and Fires pictures on facebook reminded me of Dandy - any idea how he is getting on?

Funny isn't it as Tig was born in 1999 but I guess that as her half sister Mega Delight was mum to Westmead Hawk and the other Westmead dogs many greyhound people have bred back to them to try to get Derby winners like Hawk was so now we're seeing the pups coming into retirement if they're not as good as their dad was. I'm not sure about Lucy's breeding - or really how good it is .. her dad is Ballymac Maeve and a friend says the Ballymac kennel is huge in Ireland but funny that there are a lot of Ballymac greys coming into retirement now round here. Lucy ran at Hall Green and Coventry so maybe there's a connection to trainers in the Midlands ... nice to see their relatives tho :) J x

Tigger seems to be related to loads of the dogs that are coming through the kennels at present.

Brilliant to see Dandy so loved. We reserved him on the weekend, and can't wait to get him home! Dandy will complete the family - two hamsters, two very excited little girls, mummy and daddy and now lovely Dandy! Thanks everybody!

Hopefully theres a nice lady grey out there for you with OHAC who WLTM a young handsome kind lad like you for long walks, loving licks, waggy tails and possible LTR.

Dandy will find his own home and I think it is wonderful that Fire and Joe have gone off to France to such a caring home the pictures on FB are lovely.

Don't worry Dandy. You're such a nice dog and lovely to walk even for an unexperienced greyhounder like me. Hopefully someone will fall in love with you this week end xx

Dandy, I am so sorry we could not take you here in France but we need to get Fire and Joe settled with Hope and Noble before we commit to another grey. You are a lovely looking dog and will find a home very quickly I am sure. Big cuddles.

Dandy is sadly not going to France now. Whilst Fire and Joe are settling into their new life, it is felt that it would be best to postpone another grey joining their family. This is a decision which we fully support.

Didn't have long to wait, now coming to France to join Fire and Joe :o)

We had Dandy on trial over the weekend and he really is a beautiful dog. He was well behaved, playful and very loving. We returned Dandy as we felt that having 2 dogs and 2 small children may have been too much for us to take on at the moment. We have no doubt that Dandy will make an excellent addition to any family and hope that he doesn't have to wait too long.

Oooooh another half brother to my Lucy .. dad is Ballymac Maeve too, if he's half as loving as Lucylu is he will be wonderful :) Julie x

Yay! Took longer than I expected, but well done Dandy :)

So handsome, was a bit distracted this morning at kennels but am so looking forward to lots of cuddles tomorrow and Thursday.
