Pippa is being an angel!!! Left her for a bit today, she was fine. Been an hour walk around Kingsbury Water park and she never batted an eyelid at all the ducks, waterbirds or dogs. She sleeps through the night upstairs on her bed and loves lots of hugs. She is so gentle xxx

Pippa has settled so well, she travelled fab in the car and then went straight out for the toilet. We went a walk and she ignored dogs and cats. She slept upstairs on her bed all night, never heard a peep from her!! She is perfect! Xx

Pippa is such a poppet! She continues to come home with me as I always worry for those who have been used to home comforts and are then back into kennels. She is fantastic in the house - can be left - totally clean and gaining confidence every day with us and is no longer the nervy little girl who arrived a week ago. I hope someone will find a space in their home for her soon as I worry that she is becoming so settled here - I will miss her very much when she is lucky enough to find a home as she is so loving and no trouble at all.... if only the Boswell house had space for one more!

Pippa is fantastic! She is totally housetrained, can be left with my greys and doesn't stress and is very settled at night. She is a little nervous of new people but soon gains confidence. She has a good appetite but isn't greedy and eats well with mine around her. She is great with other breeds and doesn't pull on the lead - she is a treasure and I will keep taking her home until she finds someone who will fall in love with her and offer her a forever home.

I met you today and you are a lovely dog.u will make someone an amazing pet,u weren't afraid of my children (aged 5 and 2) and the pushchair wasn't scary.she didn't try to go for any of the dogs, she seemed more scared of the little dogs and was clinging to her handlers legs, she just needs love and time to gain confidence x

We had the priviledge of taking Pippa round the show today. She was a dream, despite all the other breeds and all the people, she took it all in her stride without batting an eyelid. She gave lots of greyhound leans and had lots of fuss. She will make a fabulous pet and we really hope she finds a home soon, she deserves it.

oh pippa never mind- my male dog duffy was a nightmare to start with when he saw small fluffies- ruth suggested training classes and it worked a treat- he still pulls a little if he sees a small dog but he knows the rules and a simple no and he walks on- i know these situations can be frightening but as ruth says they can be overcome and then the rewards are fantastic and as i had a girl named pippa as my first grey i know that she will be a winner as my girl was xx

Just to remind everyone that we have specific greyhound training classes run by people very experienced in greyhound behaviour and we're always there to help. If you have a greyhound from Perry Barr or Hall Green you get four free training sessions. Julie

Sadly Pippa was returned today. Her owner was very upset at bringing her back but this morning in the park she managed to pull her owner over and went for a small dog, getting her muzzle off in the process. It was a frightening experience for her owner who felt the right thing to do was to return her as it was a side of her he had not seen. This is obviously frightening for a family with a 5 year old child.

Pippa was quite stressed at being back at the kennels so I have brought her home with me. She has settled well and is currently fast asleep on our lounge carpet, accompanied by 8 other greys! Her owner did say that she had been really good in the house and with their other grey, it was just this incident, which had been frightening, was where she went wrong. I am hoping I have worded this right for the family who have returned her and hope people will respect the family for their decision as it has been a hard one for them to make.

I know with a some training, socialisation and time, Pippa will overcome this problem and we hope she finds another home very soon - you never know, her luck may be in at the dog show. Until then, she will come home with me.
