Just a quick update to say that we had a real breakthrough and Kylie slept all on her own last night. After a couple of stern "No's" she settled down on her bed and was as good as gold until morning ... we're very happy, she's so good!! :0)

Kylie joined our family on Saturday after we "just went to the kennels for a look". We lost our beautiful grey, Honey in May and decided the time was right to give our love to a new grey. We were looking for a boy but Kylie caught my Son's eye and the the rest is history. She's still a little interested in the cat but is so keen to please us that she trains really well and we're committed to them becoming best buddies (?) She just wants to be loved and fussed all the time and does become upset if we all disappear, so after 3 nights of one of us sleeping downstairs with her - we've got Ruth coming round later today to take out her last stitch and hopefully give us some hints on how to train her to be left (this isn't something we came across with our first dog). To sum up, Kylie is a real sweetie and we're incredibly lucky to have found such a special little girl!

Poor girly but ur family tried and were sensible to take their original dogs feeling into consideration as some dog owners don't I can only imagine how hard it was for them to bring u back but maybe these who are taking you for a trial may be ur lovely new family,be good and ignoring fluffy things x

Kylie has arrived back at the kennels as she was not settling well with the families other greyhound. The family are very upset at having to return this lovely girl but their other dog has become very stressed. Kylie was very good on walks and clean in the house.

Today is a sad day we are returning Kylie. She is such a lovely little girl, whoever adopts here will be very lucky.
Unfortunately it is not working out with our other dog Monty.

I feel so sad.... I have left Kylie at the kennels but she was curled up in her kennel keeping Gordon company and I felt bad leaving Gordon on his own. Whilst she has been at our house she has been an absolute dream - clean through the night, great with our greys, has already been left for a few hours and was very good. See you in the morning precious x

This little girl is an absolute treasure. Very quiet, she was so good on our short walk this afternoon and trotted along beautifully, despite the horrible weather. Stood very patiently to get dry when we got back, then curled up in her basket bless her. Big cuddles for you my lovely little girl. x

erm..... was going to leave Kylie at the kennels tonight but I just can't! She is sooooo good she is no problem so what is an extra 4 legs when we already have 24 (or should that be 28 with Jess!) x

Kylie is an absolute treasure. She has toileted outside and had a very settled night (despite Foxy getting me up twice in the night) and just wags her tail so happily when you talk to her :-) She is so very sweet x

Kylie has just arrived at the kennels direct from the vets after her spey. She is currently being cuddled in the office by Karen and will be coming home with me tonight :-)
