So so sad to hear Dylan has passed over the bridge. I have lost 4 beautiful Greys over the past few years and I take comfort in the knowledge that all of us who gave them their forever homes made sure they left this earth as beloved pets and will always be remembered this way in our hearts. Run free Dylan God bless x

I had the very sad news from Nicola to say that poor Dylan fell in the garden and broke his leg and had to be let go. I will miss walking this handsome and sensitive lad on our walks with his Sister Janey. He was such a well behaved boy with so much life left in him! He was taken far too soon and I shall miss him dearly. My thoughts are with Nicola and Barbara and of course his sister Janey. Rest in piece Dilly xx

Thanks Ruth. Poor Basil :( I will see how Dylan goes with it. The vet thinks there might be enough scar tissue to keep it in place but if not the top of the toe will have to come off. My poor Baby. He doesnt seem to be too distressed though bless him. :)

Basil and Shrew both used to regularly dislocate their toes when running around the park - with Shrew we used to click it back into place and rest her (gentle lead exercise) for a couple of weeks. With Basil he eventually dislocated it so badly it couldn't be 'popped' back and he ended up having his toe amputated :-(

Poor Dylan has dislocated a toe on his rear foot :( he has been a brave boy. The toe is strapped up by the Vet and a dressing applied. The Vet seems to think that it may keep happening now that it is weakened and he may have to have the top of his toe amputated. Has this happened to anyone else with their grey? I dont like the idea of that as he already has toe missing on the other foot. Nic x

Dylan has had a lovely day.. playing with Janey in the garden this morning, then training at Julie's class meeting all the other lovely dogs and people, visting Daybreaks to say goodbye and have cuddles, a nice walk in the Sunshine, a lovely bowl of food and now a snooze next to Janey in his nice soft bed. He is a lovely boy and we are really thrilled to have him - Nic and Barbara xx

I do not understand why this beautiful boy is still in the kennels. He is quiet, gentle, well behaved on his walks, loves a fuss, wags his whole back end in greeting,in fact a good dog all round.
