Post roadshow update:

Extremely grateful for all volunteers today for your help and support. I can't run these events without you!!

Dogs were great, Robin didn't enjoy it as much but she was very well behaved bless her...

We have raised a total amount of £411.34, this number includes a single donation from a staff member at Morrisons who donated via my Just Giving page as she had no cash on her. Her donation was £100. My largest single donation so far to date! MASSIVE THANK YOU...

Great to hear how much was donated at yesterday’s roadshow. Magic and Fox were a bit fazed by all the people and trolleys to start with but soon became more chilled and enjoyed all the fuss. My old gentleman Rigsby (13 and 2/3!) did amazingly well and lasted the whole day. Admittedly mostly lying on a bed or duvet but he also got lots of fuss and treats and raised smiles with people seeing this grey faced old boy asleep :)) And there was interest in adopting and volunteering which is great too. Looking forward to more roadshows again as we’ve missed telling the wider public about these wonderful dogs xx

Massive thanks to Rob and the team, that's a great result especially as it was so hot today. I bet Magic and Fox had a ball - and will sleep well tonight!!!

It's not just about raising the vital funds we need, but also about raising awareness of the Greyhound breed and what fabulous pets they make.

Massive thank you to today's volunteers as well. The sun was out and the work was tough but they all trud through it to make the dog's day fun being out in public. Majic & Fox were fantastic and really enjoyed the different scenery.

Hi everyone,

The Morrisons Roadshows are now in full swing and planning. I am now asking for volunteers to join us on both days if possible, or help out where you can. This will be our first roadshow since Covid and a big opportunity for us to spread the word about Daybreaks and the work we all do.
