Well - yesterday I returned from holiday and popped to the kennels to visit. Roxie went mental seeing me and Andy said let's take him..... so I have come back in today and signed the paperwork and he is about to go in the car to live in Torquay!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!

My favourite boy…. How I wish I was in a position to adopt him…. Sadly I just can’t. I’ll come and visit you hopefully on Thursday xxxx

Very sadly Roxie has come back to the kennels today.
His owner is devastated to have to return him but unfortunately, he and the other Greyhounds in the family are not getting along.

Shirley told us off today! We forgot to give Roxie his Birthday card on Thursday! :(( We tried to make it up to him by signing our rendition of Happy Birthday....not sure he was very impressed with this!! However he did enjoy the Gravy bones and tried to eat his card! :)) Xxx

Today was Roxie's lucky day - finally and has been reserved! I am soooo happy as his new mum has bagged herself a wonderful, loving, devoted, clever and handsome boy (I might be biased!!!!) He is off to his new home on 1st August with the new name of Paddy which we will get him used to. Well done Roxie Pops xxxx

This big beautiful boy is very picturesque and cheeky, however he is very pleasurable to work with at all times; he is also very playful and very good walking on the lead when being taken on walks xx

Roxie is now in our bigger kitchen kennel and run. He is much happier being able to see everything that is going on. He really is a very friendly lad who loves cuddles. Xxx

Roxie is great! He is very good in his kennel and will bark to let us know when he needs to come out and go to the toilet. :)). He is just a big, happy puppy! Xxx

He was so excited to go out and couldn't wait to jump into the car. :))

As Kate has already said Roxie is a big happy friendly lad. I can confirm that after our visit to Elmdon Park today.
As a big lad it was fortunate he jumped on his own into the car and travelled sensibly to the park.
He is quite strong on the lead and prospective adoptors should bear that in mind.
There were no problems with him meeting medium and larger breeds but caution still needed with smaller dogs.
He loves affection and will enjoy life in a home with a loving active lifestyle

A cuddle for Roxie tonight. Hope it won't be long before he finds his forever home. Xxx
