Happy 10th birthday to you Benny boy! You know you have a special place in my heart so it was lovely to see you today on your birthday. I think you liked your birthday pilchard mini muffins with melted cheese topping that I baked for you! Save some for tomorrow and be a nice boy and share with your sisfur Blue ;—)) It was nice to see your mom home with her new elbow too we all had a lovely chat and some hooman lemon drizzle cake too! I’ll be round soon to collect the empty boxes! Lots of love from Linda, Paul, Lena & Peggy (she sends you a kiss) xxxx

I went to Braidwood School for the Deaf yesterday doing my Pets as Therapy duty. It was a lovely school, I got to lie on my blanket while mom told them about me and lots of people waved their hands round in an interesting way. I had lots of fuss and lots of treats and then we went outside and showed them how fast I could run, they all clapped. They got a pupil to run a race with me, so I didn't show her up I just jogged along next to her at her pace. They were lovely staff and students. Two of the staff also have Daybreaks hounds! Fantastic amount of money raised on Sunday. I hope it's all going to be spent on bones for the resident hounds! Lubs to all Florence xxx

Well I had so much fun at the Daybreaks party today. So glad Florence could come. I got to meet lots of other lovely hounds. It was great to see Auntie Ruth, Auntie Kate, Auntie Jo and all of the other volunteers again. I had a lot of fuss. My dad got me a new collar and the best part a biscuit! Apparently we won the raffle. I’m glad they are drinks I get very thirsty in this weather but daddy says I can’t have any! Not fair. Hopefully we will come again in the middle of the week to pay a visit and pick the up. Barney Xx

I had a lovely time today at the Daybreaks birthday party. I saw all the people I love there and lots of lovely hound friends. I went with Barney and we had a quick kiss when we met - don't tell mom! There was lots going on and I hope loads of money was raised to help more hounds like me. Lubs to all. Florence xx

Just an update on our lovely Jay--aka Ray--he has settled in so well.no bother with him at all,he has been clean in the house ,quiet when shut up at night and so far we have left him for 2 hours with no problems ,such a happy chappy.I now have my eye on a second look at Petal but need to put a bit more pressure on hubby yet !!Watch this space!!
