Yesterday evening was a busy one firstly with a viewing for Mandy. She proved how good she was with Tyke and Socks our resident cats and because of this she secured herself a new home! We then had Marty and his foster Mum come up to use the sand run... as it has been so hot this is the best time of day so if you want to book the run out of hours, just let us know. Finally the news you have been waiting for with Roy and Saddle is they are reserved and going out on trial on Sunday. I am over the moon for them and hope all goes well... we will keep you posted. X

Hi Fairy, how nice to hear from you :)) Skip had a small lump appear under a dew claw. Fortunately diagnosed as a cyst but vet advised to have it removed along with the dew claw. He has not been a happy boy! Fletch managed to stand on Skip's poorly paw not once but twice this week and he really cried. 🙁 He is looking at me from his bed as if to say "l need more hugs, I'm still not well" :)) Do hope you are all good. Big cuddle to Champ. Sure he is braver than his brother. Xxx

I took Annie to the vets for her neutering operation this morning. When we went to collect her this afternoon, the vet decided she would rather keep Annie there for an extra couple of hours as she was rather hot and bothered. 🙁 Ruth picked her up early evening. Sure she will be feel better tomorrow. Xxx One of our volunteers brought his lovely Cocker Spaniel, Sal in this morning to do some meet and greets with our Greyhounds. Several of them met her in the sand run under the shade of the pine tree. There were a couple who were very excited to meet her! Bounty, Hugo and Kado were all brilliant. :))) We have extra help at the kennels this week. We have two students from local schools carrying out a week's work experience. We hope they enjoy their time with us and learn something about these wonderful dogs. :)) Xxx
