Sid
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I had the pleasure of walking gorgeous boy Sid at the GGGW today! He is such a handsome lad and really does turn heads wherever he goes 🙂 He loves people and gets on fantastically with other greys, a little bit reactive to non greys as Shirley has mentioned, more so the small fluffies he saw running around off lead which is understandable , but nothing a little bit of training and patience couldn't fix, he's just a curious boy and wants to say hello! He's an affectionate soul who loves to lean, and will most definitely make a fantastic pet. xx

Nick

This fab lad attended the GGGW with me today, although strong on the lead, all he wants to do is be upfront to see everything first. He did get excited with dogs off lead, but no aggression was seen at all, think he just wants to play with everyone... He was fine with all dogs if introduced once he had stopped bouncing... If your after a dog to keep you fit.. Nick is the dog for you. X

This girl accompanied me on the GGGW today and what a dream. She was not bothered by any kind of dog, even when they were running off lead past her... She walks fantastic on the lead and loves cuddles... She really is no trouble at all. Please do not be put off by her age, she is so much like a 3 year old, she would fit into any home. X

Sunny (Sully)

Today I had the pleasure of walking Sully round Brueton Park again on the GGGW. This boy is a delight to be with, he's got a zest for life and loves to be out and about. He has excellent manners and greets everyone and all dogs like a gentleman. Today he met a French bulldog puppy who he greeted with a wagging tail and a gentle sniff nose to nose. He saw some off lead dogs running today but again although he looked at them there was no reaction from him at all he was just happy to be out on the walk. Whoever adopts this lad will be getting a super addition to their family. Sully is a happy, friendly and affectionate and an all round super hound. His lovely black coat sparkled in the summer sun today too. i just love him xx

Sid
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Sid came along on a little trip with us yesterday to Leamington, to help out out on an awareness day. He jumped in the car, without any problems and within a few minutes settled so well that we almost forgot he was with us. During the day, he was interested in every new thing he saw. He was a little bit reactive to other dogs but was an absolute star with all the people be met, both big and small. Sid was a good boy and should be a welcome addition to any family who adopt him. All in all, a big cuddle monster. Well done Sid on your first big day out.

Susie had a wonderful time today playing in the sand run with her soon to be new brother. She was shattered afterwards and enjoyed an extra long snooze in the office. So pleased for her. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
Sid and Brandy both had a day out from kennels today and went to help at the Leamington Spa Roadshow with Shirley, Richard and Norman. They both had a great time and were brilliant ambassadors for the rest of the kennel residents. They were both very tired and ready for their dinner when they came back this afternoon. 🙂 Skip arrived at the kennels this morning. He had a bath and a photo shoot with our other new arrival to the kennels, Jo! Hope we didn't put you off today! :)) Skip went out for his first walk this afternoon. He is a happy lad and very friendly. Xx Little Tiny went home and now has a new name, Elsa :)) She was such a good girl and enjoyed trying on new coats 🙂 Wishing her a very happy new life. Xx During Elsa's homing a lovely family arrived to look for a playmate for their existing Greyhound. It was a difficult decision as their lad is so sweet and got on with everyone but they finally decided to offer Susie a great new life with them! Thanks so much to them for their patience today as it was really busy...they just got on with all the meet and greets :)) It was great to see recently home Duke and his owner, he is a very happy lad and looked so good. x Thanks to Adam and Amy for walking all the dogs this afternoon and to Sara for balancing food bowls whilst still on crutches! :)) Xxx

Roxy

I can understand how scary things like this can be, just after we had Jato I was out with all three and some very small dogs got out of their garden about 10 houses away - as luck would have it only thing hurt was me a broken finger (in the leads) and bruised pride! When we got home my first reaction was can't do three - but who to send back Archive no he wasn't a daybreaks, Breeze well she slipped her collar but then ran home cos all the barking and shouting upset her - so Jato who has had 95 races and was doing what she was trained for ? Well they are all still here and for a while after I put muzzles on - not for them but to relax me. Hugs to Roxy. Xxxx

Brandy has today been meeting and greeting at the Leamington Street collection. What a very special lad. He travels in the car great and his behaviour to small dogs and the youngest of children was perfect. A fabulous dog just waiting for someone to give him the home he deserves.
