Thank you so much for letting me know. I'm glad she was a good girl at the foster home, I knew she would be, she is such a good girl. Please give her a huge cuddle from me. I'm sure whoever meets her first from those that have enquired with fall head over heels for her and if they choose to let Seren join their family, they will have gained a true gem who will fill their lives with happiness.x

You know me, I like them to feel like they've had a good day out. Lol. Rory was great in the house and garden with Tinker and Sully. He picked up and carried around a variety of squeaky toys, had a wee in the garden, spotted the guineapigs in their cage and thought he'd won the lottery but as soon as I said no and distracted him he came to me and left them alone straight away. He's a clever boy and would soon get to grips with family life I'm sure. Xxx good luck Rory.

Hi Lorraine, Seren will be staying at the kennels for a while. We have had several enquiries about her, so it's easier for people to meet her if she is at the kennels. She has a lovely kennel mate to keep company and is happy and relaxed. She was a really good girl in her foster home. 🙂 Xxx

Tiny arrived at the kennels this morning. Her trainer says she is great with children and gets on well with other dogs. She met two young children this afternoon and was very gentle with them. She is a very sweet little girl. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We had a new arrival this morning. A very pretty girl called Tiny. She is a happy girl and so friendly. Bella gave her a bath, she had a spot of lunch and then settled into her kennel for a snooze. 🙂 Brilliant to see Ashley again today. He was such a good boy while waiting for his new Mom and Dad to sign his adoption paperwork. 🙂 Thanks again to Myra and Alan for giving him a lovely new home. Xx We have three French students helping at the kennels for the next four weeks. It was their first day today. Ruth got them involved with helping with nail cutting and bathings this morning and this afternoon they helped with the walks and feeding. Many thanks to Bella for looking after them and trying out her French....! 🙂 Thank you to everyone who came in on a Bank Holiday to help look after our super boys and girls. Xxx

I walked this lovely little girl this morning. She is as good as gold on the lead and walks nicely by your side. She really does enjoy company and seems happier with a kennel mate. Such a pretty little thing, am sending her big cuddles this evening. xx

I had the pleasure of walking this lovely boy this morning. After the usual initial exuberance of getting out of the building, he walked nicely by my side and was very interested in everything around him. He walked nicely with the group and with him being so big, and me being so short, we could cuddle as we walked!! I'm sorry to hear he's split his tail - but there is a lot of it to wag and he is a happy chap! xx

I had the absolute pleasure of taking my boy out for a walk this morning. He gets so excited when he sees you approaching with the lead & muzzle, and does like to shout at you to hurry up!! Out on a walk though he is a really good boy, walks beautifully, and responds well to you. He gets my cuddle today, and my wish is that his very own sofa is not far away. Night night sweetheart. xxx

We are delighted to say that Ashley is no longer reserved. He was such a good boy while we sorted the adoption papers (well maybe the stuffed crocodile that he chewed the face off wouldn't agree!) We saw him running (in the sand run) for the first time. He looked so happy. He is an absolute joy. xxx

Well last night was just crazy. No thunder or rain, actually nothing at all. Not one drop. I was panting scared stiff. My sister finally got me to drink water when she got my food bowl stand. They put me in the bedroom to rest but the only thing was I didn’t come out at all. It was a horrible weekend. My bleeding leg has stopped and now looks better. At least I won’t be going to the scary vets. Had me worried. Well I was already worried to be honest. My dad put me back in the car this morning and we drove for about 5 minutes I thought we were finally going home but no we were at this shopping place with a garden centre. I was a bit calmer there. I suppose I was better because I have had practice from my family taking me to Malbicks. We had a look round the shops and went into the garden centre. My mummy brought me a weird looking bottle with a little bowl at the top. Apparently I’m supposed to drink from it. No idea if I will just seems strange to me. Then we had another 5 minute drive, thought we were going home this time but NO we went back to the scary looking lorry thing that is like a house. We got In and I ran to the bedroom and drank water and stayed there while my family were having lunch. My daddy came back and told me to get out and that we are going somewhere I liked. He had to drag me because I thought he was going to take me somewhere but home, I didn’t trust where we were going. When we got in the car it was another 1 hour drove and then I realised we were finally home. Yay. At last! Barney Xx
