Florence is not wearing her collar this evening (flea treatment applied to back of neck), how come she looks much bigger than usual!?! We can only assume that lots of her is usually hidden behind a 1.5" martingale! Xxx

I had the pleasure of bringing a couple of past Daybreaks residents to the kennels for a pamper session with Jess today. Steffie and Bobby are both very handsome black lads and it was brilliant to see how happy they are and how much their respective owners love them. Homes such as theirs are what we dream of for every retired Greyhound. Xxx

This lovely lad came with me to Brueton Park today. After only having arrived yesterday, everything was very new and exciting. He walked well and had to be at the very front for most of the walk ( he wasn't afraid to push and weave his way through anytime he fell vehind!). He stuck his head in every bush as well as sniffed every tree. I think he thoroughly enjoyed being out and about. He needed help getting in the car but was fine on the way back. He's a quick learner! Good luck with finding your forever home x

I had the pleasure of walking gorgeous boy Sid at the GGGW today! He is such a handsome lad and really does turn heads wherever he goes 🙂 He loves people and gets on fantastically with other greys, a little bit reactive to non greys as Shirley has mentioned, more so the small fluffies he saw running around off lead which is understandable , but nothing a little bit of training and patience couldn't fix, he's just a curious boy and wants to say hello! He's an affectionate soul who loves to lean, and will most definitely make a fantastic pet. xx

    I’m Homed

This fab lad attended the GGGW with me today, although strong on the lead, all he wants to do is be upfront to see everything first. He did get excited with dogs off lead, but no aggression was seen at all, think he just wants to play with everyone... He was fine with all dogs if introduced once he had stopped bouncing... If your after a dog to keep you fit.. Nick is the dog for you. X

This girl accompanied me on the GGGW today and what a dream. She was not bothered by any kind of dog, even when they were running off lead past her... She walks fantastic on the lead and loves cuddles... She really is no trouble at all. Please do not be put off by her age, she is so much like a 3 year old, she would fit into any home. X

  • Sunny (Sully)

    I’m Homed

Today I had the pleasure of walking Sully round Brueton Park again on the GGGW. This boy is a delight to be with, he's got a zest for life and loves to be out and about. He has excellent manners and greets everyone and all dogs like a gentleman. Today he met a French bulldog puppy who he greeted with a wagging tail and a gentle sniff nose to nose. He saw some off lead dogs running today but again although he looked at them there was no reaction from him at all he was just happy to be out on the walk. Whoever adopts this lad will be getting a super addition to their family. Sully is a happy, friendly and affectionate and an all round super hound. His lovely black coat sparkled in the summer sun today too. i just love him xx

  • Sid

    Over the Rainbow Bridge

Sid came along on a little trip with us yesterday to Leamington, to help out out on an awareness day. He jumped in the car, without any problems and within a few minutes settled so well that we almost forgot he was with us. During the day, he was interested in every new thing he saw. He was a little bit reactive to other dogs but was an absolute star with all the people be met, both big and small. Sid was a good boy and should be a welcome addition to any family who adopt him. All in all, a big cuddle monster. Well done Sid on your first big day out.
