Lulu is now Evie and Laddie is now Monty. They are settling well, we are all absolutely loving having them both, they are so adorable. I can't believe I have TWO hounds when I only came in for One!

Big Happy 5th Birthday to our girl Jess, had her 9 months now still very nervous especially around children and traffic but we are getting there slowly, now starting to ask for cuddles 🙂 and jumping into bed with us

I have just said goodbye to Sandy after her 4 night holiday at our house. I’m very upset to see her go and would 100% have adopted her had my own circumstances been different. I have asked my partner to drive her back to the kennels while I am at work today as I think I may have chained myself to her kennel when it was time for me to leave. From the beginning, Sandy was a perfect guest - no accidents inside, finished all her food, and got on well with my grey Shanaye. This sweet girl has visibly grown in confidence in just 4 days with us - from enjoying a lovely (if muddy) walk up the Clent Hills, to learning to run up and down the stairs (incessantly once she’d got the hang of it!), to enjoying a cuddle without flinching first. Although shy and nervous initially, Sandy quickly started to show signs that with time she will become a very loyal, affectionate, well-behaved companion. She started to trust us after just a day or so and by the end of her stay had begun to wag her tail upon seeing us and to follow me around the house. If anyone reading this would be interested in adopting Sandy and keen to know more about her personality, I’d be very happy for the kennels to pass on my number. I can also share the 1793 cute photos I took of her overbite. Sandy is a special girl who will stick her comically long nose into whatever she can: your cup of tea, your face, your dinner - but most importantly, your heart.

Well it’s been a mad weekend with all our plans being ruined but we have still made the most of the weekend. Saturday we still had a meal and spent time with our friends it wasn’t at the caravan but we still had a day with each other. Sunday we didn’t do much but we went Sheldon Country Park. Mum watched the planes because for some reason she likes them. I find them a bit scary because of the loud noise they make. I had a fab time jogging round. We even met another greyhound called Victoria so that was nice. Today was very fun. I went to Melbicks. Yes I was sacred but I was definitely better than last time apparently. I let people fuss me and we even saw our friends again. When they left I wanted to go with them! Well what did I get. I got SAUSAGES and some teeth cleaning thing to put in my water because I’m too difficult when cleaning my teeth. I refuse to let anybody near them. Apparently it is the only thing that will work. Barney Xx
