Apparently I have a new name - because I have being letting everyone know I am awake at 5am I am now called 'Miss Veronica Barker'!?! SFF Maud is officially part of the Raymond menagerie. The crate is gone and we are friends - apart from when I ask her to play and she doesn't understand! SFF Coco is still getting used to the idea! How are 'Our Archive' and ' Billy', hoping they are both well. Florence xx

Tony and Jack came out for a walk with me this afternoon. On our way back to DB we walked straight into the worst blizzard which I have experienced in this country. Both were as good as gold. Fellow volunteers who know Adam will be surprised to hear that I actually saw him flinch at the severity of the weather. Adam has a legendary reputation for walking hounds in the freezing conditions while only wearing a t-shirt. Today was so bad that even he was relieved to get back to our kitchen sanctuary.

Hello everyone thank you for the support. Just got back from the vets, my leg is still a little swollen but is ok. I have now started to run in the garden! The vet has given me some medication which will help with the swelling. I don’t want to take it but my family will probably make me. When we first arrived at the vets I was shaking like a leaf. At the end of the check up I got a treat. Probably the highlight of the visit. Have to go back next Saturday for another check up. Don’t know if I will meet Florence Saturday but we could meet after. At least I’m on the mend! Barney Xx

Poor Barney you have really been in the wars but it’s best to get all this vet stuff out of the way cos then your leg will be better and you can meet up with Florence and do lots of zoomies. I hope you feel better soon, love from Moe xx

Oh Barney - you poor thing. I hope you are starting to feel better now and yes, it will be very sensible to go and see the vet again tomorrow. The sooner that leg is better the sooner you can do walkies with Florence again! Big hugs. xx
