Had the fastest walk with Jed this morning, out did what he needed to do and back in the house at high speed, he hasn’t ventured off his bed since, nice and cosy under a warm blanket with is bed next to the radiator and the heating on.

If I could have a brother or sister it would be fun but mummy says no. My sister wants them all but she really does like Tony so hopefully he will get rehomed soon Barney Xx

When you are working in the same conditions that those beautiful greyhounds are sleeping in you want to take them all home with you. Get yourself a greyhound you will be rewarded with so much love and laughter. If only the wife said go on then we will have 1 more I would be straight there to choose another.

It’s getting colder and colder. Luckily my house has heating which keeps me warm I also have extra blankets. Not worn my PJS yet but may have to soon. When I go outside for a wee is horrible it’s freezing. I run to the end of the garden as quick as I can do my business then run as fast as I can into the house. The fun but cold white stuff has returned! This has caused the roads and pavements to be dangerous so my sister has no school tomorrow. I think she is happy about it. I’m happy too because I can spend the day with her. Mummy might not go to work if the roads are still bad in the morning. Unfortunately daddy doesn’t really have much choice but if it is really bad and impossible to get there he will be home too. May not be able to meet Florence on Saturday due to weather but if it’s not bad we will be able to go for a walk. We will have to wait and see! Barney Xx

The gorgeous Molly wasn't keen on the snow and wind today (was anybody) but she enjoyed a good look round and was quite startled when a robin hopped out of a hedge she was investigating. x

Took Jillie out today. Bless her gentle little soul. She walked nicely but was quite nervous on her first walk, it didn't help that there was a blizzard blowing. She's a very pretty girl who loves a fuss. x

It is so cold today I'm having a pyjama day. When we went for a walk early mom was so wrapped up she looked like the Michellin man, TC put on some gloves and I had my blizzard coat over my PJs, a snood and a hat. The tassel on my hat kept getting in my eyes so mom tucked it under the front of the hat, apparently I looked like 'Penelope Keith in The Good Life when she worn a turban' - no idea what that means! Small feline furry Maud is still here and I am a good girl as I'm not shouting 'ITS A CAT' all the time at the top of my voice. When Maud comes out of her crate I am no longer on a lead. SFF Coco is still not over impressed with SFF Maud though but moms says we are all making progress. Much love to all who brave the cold to look after the hounds at Daybreaks. You deserve a medal! Florence xxx
