Hi jetlucy, it was sad to hear Paul O'Grady has passed away. I feel so sad for his own dogs who must be missing him terribly. Xxx What a nice idea to think of him being at Rainbow Bridge saying hello to all our much loved and missed boys and girls. Xxx xxx

Well what a sad day to hear of the sudden passing of a beautiful soul and true gentleman, Paul O Grady. God bless you Paul, you will be sadly missed and you did some truly wonderful work for the animals. I hope he's giving all our rainbow Bridge doggies a fuss and their 'claim to fame'! Give jet an extra special kiss from me xxx

A chilly day today...just when I thought spring had arrived! Larky was back at the kennels after her stay at Ruth's. She was very bright today, she is a very friendly girl. 🙂 Xxx We had a gorgeous new arrival, Peggy. What a very pretty little girl. She enjoyed having some lunch with the other residents and had her first walk with Shirley this afternoon. She was quite excited and wasn't very good at walking in a straight line :)) Sure she will soon relax and walk beautifully! :)) Many thanks to everyone for all your help today. Xxx

Daisy has now been with the Diggins family for 4 years. Still enjoys a cuddle but not being very good with her food sometimes. She can still be a bit quiet since losing Stan. We love her to bits. Love to all greys and humans. Spannerxx

This little girl is absolutely beautiful. I took her to Fivelands yesterday for her spey and then she came home with me. She curled up on her bed and we didn't know we had got her. She is just so sweet and I hope she finds a home soon.

Daybreaks Diary!

Ruth was back today after her holiday. :)) She took Larky off to the vets this morning for her Neutering operation. She also collected her this evening and has taken her home. Xxx Larky looked very sleepy when Ruth picked her up. Hope she will feel better tomorrow. Xxx Many thanks to our wonderful students and volunteers for all their help today. All of our Residents had walks this morning and this afternoon. After his recent Neutering operation, Linda took Sid for a gentle stroll around the sand run. :)) After lunch there were games and licki mats to play with! Xxx A lovely lady came to visit this afternoon, she was looking for a Greyhound friend. :)) Magic was the lucky boy to be chosen! Xxx It was fantastic to come home in the light tonight! Hurrah for Spring....at last! :)) Xxx

Mr Sparkle & Shine!!! Such a gorgeous soul, always has a clean kennel and is such a good boy. He really isn’t enjoying his time in a kennel- he just wants to be with you and having fuss and cuddles. Fingers crossed that his very own forever home is just around the corner. Xx
