Took this handsome boy to Bruton Park today and we were so proud of him. Whilst he is still interested in other dogs with a little encouragement he walked past without reacting and was on a loose lead! He is a fast learner and just needs someone who will be confident and consistent when out walking and I believe it wouldn't be long before he got to the stage of not reacting to other fdogs. He is a real character and very loving. Hopefully he will find his forever home soon xx

Daybreaks Diary!

It was a very busy day yesterday...Laura had so many pampers, I lost count! It was so wonderful to see lots of past Daybreaks residents and hearing how happy they are and what joy they have brought to their families. :)) Xxx Arthur came in for a health check, he looked fabulous and has settled really well in his new home. He had a pamper too! 🙂 Xxx Seana brought Fergal in for a pamper. After losing Teddy a few days ago they were both understandably very sad. Fergal was a very quiet lad. He had a little play in the sand run with one of our visiting beautiful Greyhounds. He enjoyed his pamper with Laura too. Xxx It all helped to cheer him up and we were so happy to see him with a waggy tail. Sending Fergal and Seana lots of love. Xxx Steve found himself an andmirer, a lovely young lady was quite taken with him....she tried very hard to get her Mom and Dad to take him home but they have already got two fabulous Greyhound girls. :)) I'm sure his home will be along soon. Xxx Thanks so much to everyone who helped out at the kennels yesterday. :)) Xxx

This lad is absolutely immaculate in his kennel - clean every morning and he is such a gentle soul. He comes into the office regularly and just curls up on the bed, especially loving it if there are other dogs in there.

Daybreaks Diary!

It was Gold Stars all round in the clean kennel awards today - with an extra special mention for the gorgeous Steve and Magic, yet again all I had to do was straighten one corner of the bed in both kennels - think we are going to have to check the cameras to see if they actually do spend the night in their kennels!!!! Truff Truff had entertained herself overnight by working at her dressing and destroying most of it!! There were bits of vet wrap all over her bed this morning, and she gives you that innocent "Well, I don't know where that came from" look - you just can't be cross with her. Ruth has spoiled her fun now though, as she has put boots on her! It's shaping up to be a busy day at Daybreaks, Laura is fully booked with her Valentine's pamper sessions, and there are lots of appointments in the diary so - I will make my usual wish for some red or green signs by Monday. Have a great weekend one and all, stay safe and well. Angie xx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Little Stacy came home with me yesterday as she has not been eating very well and had an upset tum. We have stopped her Metacam and she woofed down her food once back at ours! She is a very sweet and quite girl who goes out to her new home at the beginning of March x

This little fella is a joy. It was great to get him out in the sand run a couple days ago as I was filming him ready for his super star video. He was well behaved and loved a good run about.

Daybreaks Diary!

Many thanks as always to Angie for opening up and to Karla for doing morning walks and sorting the cats. Laura had bookings for nail clipping for Bertie and a pamper for the gorgeous Padfoot. Turf Truf was limping so Ruth had a look and thinks she has something in her pad so dressed it, later on today she decided to hold her other paw up!! We had no Chris today so Karla and Matthew took it in turns to take the dogs Into the sand run. Thanks too to Suzi who came in and helped with feeding and cleaning the runs and sitting with the dogs and helped keep an eye on Truf Truf who tried to get her dressing off, I managed to do a temporary repair until Ruth looks at it again tomorrow. After a few days off it was nice to be back. Xx

Such a soft and gentle snugglebug this lad is. Fur soft to feel. Perfectly behaved in the sand run today off lead. He loves to say hello to you. Absolutely cracking.
