As you all know last week Barney came to stay and we had loads of fun together, he had barely gone when I was in the car and off we went. It was a very long drive and to my surprise we arrived at Uncle Ian's and Uncle Michael's in Wales. After walking to the beach and having sausages in the pub I had a very comfy night. Next morning we all drove down the road for 20 minutes before arriving at what I can only describe as a lumpy patch of land with a portacabin on it! Mom and dad walked up and down and dad also got out a long stretchy thing and compared it to fences..... All very strange! I went off with uncles Ian and Michael and mom and dad disappeared for ages! When they came back Uncle Michael asked mom what she would like to drink, she said champagne! It seems they had agreed to buy the lumpy ground and have a bungalow built!! Florence, the soon to be Welsh, greyhound. Xx

Please prospective owners spend some time with this lad great that Daybreaks is please do not let this lad spend his whole life in a kennel environment he has so much to give and watching him experience everything in life for the first time would be so rewarding.

Vera

Vera already has a lot going for her with her lovely 4 white socks and white tip to her tail making her very attractive to the eye. However there is so much more to her than just her looks. Today on her first visit to Brueton Park she behaved perfectly in every way. She met all sizes of other breeds and small children without any problems. She also travelled perfecly in the car (although hasnt quite mastered jumping in on her own yet !) She loves life and is quite keen on the lead especially early in the walk so consequently would probably need someone with the confidence to walk an active dog. She was an absolute delight to take out. Hopefully her permanent home will arrive sooner than later. She deserves it.

We visited the kennels today and my 12yr old son fell for this stunning boy, in his own words Tommy was soft, gentle and loving. If Warren could choose a hound to home it would be Tommy.
