Just wanted to update you all on the lovely Floyd:- He is getting on extremely well with us, and is a friendly, happy lad. He is enjoying his walks and certainly coming out of his shell, bless him. Many thanks for everyone's help at Daybreaks - we will come you posted on his progress. x

Thank you to Daybreaks staff for their kindness, and could you cuddle Peggy for me as I miss her with all my heart. She's such a little Princess, Miss Independent but such a lap dog, so calm and loving.

I want to thank all the staff at Daybreaks for being so sensitive and non-judgmental when we returned Peggy and Ted, we're still heartbroken. Teddy is looking very happy in his photo on the pink and white blanket, he's a fussy loving boy and a bit of a nervous nellie, but he'll repay you 10 times over with love and affection.

Lucy was out and about on Saturday at the Maybird Shopping Centre in Stratford helping at the PBRGT awareness day being held there. This beautiful brindle and white girl behaved impeccably with everyone she met loving all the attention she received from both adults and even tiny little toddlers. Although rather curious at seeing very small dogs for the first time there was no display of any aggression. She travelled perfectly in the car and is one beautiful greyhound waiting for her forever home to arrive. It was also lovely to see ex Daybreaks residents Celt and Archie(formerly Gooner) and their respective owners spending time with us on their first awareness days.

Teddy arrrived at the kennels today. He is a very handsome lad. He is quite strong on the lead but quite nervous. It would be great if he and Peggy could be homed together but if this isn't possible he would be better suited to be homed with a family who have another dog for company and older children as he would find young children a little scary! His owners say he is a perfect gentleman. Xxx

This morning I tested my sardine and oat biscuits on Billy. Perhaps it might be better if his name was Dyson - the biscuits disappeared in a heartbeat. He looked very pleased with himself although did let out a mighty belch! Hopefully Billy's luck will change soon. He's a very impressive boy and desreves a loving home.
