Over the Rainbow Bridge
Mabel was out for a walk with us when Nicole came to take her home. I remember the look on her face when we returned to Daybreaks and she saw her hound - so excited. We know for sure that the time Mabel spent with her family was very happy.

Jembob, i know you would have taken him if you could, and you are right in not doing so if you would have to leave him all day, but i think its lovely that you spend as much time with him as you do, i am sure it is helping him get used to people and situations for when his forever home comes along, keep up the good work, and he couldnt be in a better place than Daybreaks, everybody is wonderful, i cant praise them enough for everything they do for these wondrrful hounds xxxxx

Shani. We would love to have Dex living with us, both me and Julie are very fond of him indeed. Sadly I only get to see him a handful of times each week but Dex is fortunate to be waiting at Daybreaks where many others care for him so well. He does need a home though and a little understanding while he settles into domestic life. Our working days are too long to give Dex the attention which we believe he deserves but if we could adopt him we would not hesitate.

Shanishoo. We had a day off today so went to see Dex this morning and went for a walk with him. He was a bit subdued to start with but perked up with a walk and his favourite Garlic & Liver choc drops. He seems to really enjoy stomping through the puddles down Damson Lane - I've bought some water proof boots to keep up with him.
