I’m Homed
Jet arrived yesterday at the request of the Greyhound Board. He is absolutely adorable. A very gentle nature and as he is off to the vets tomorrow for neutering, I felt I needed to bring him home tonight to ensure he had extra cuddles. He has been so settled and such a good boy x

Absolutely devastated about the loss of beautiful Sully. He was so very happy and friendly with so much love to give. He was a laid back lad in his kennel, who upon meeting you instantly fell for. Xxx So very, very sad....lots of love to you Sully Xxxxxx

Totally shocked and stunned to read this news. What an unbelievably sad thing to have happened to this beautiful lad. The memory of my morning in Elmdon Park with him just last Tuesday will stay with me forever.

Totally heartbroken and truly saddened and shocked to have received the call telling me of the passing of Sully. Taken way to soon, he was such a gentleman. Sully my baby, run fast and free at Rainbow Bridge, you never got to know the pleasure and comfort of a forever home. Your time was precious and filled with love. God bless you sweet angel, candle lit for you tonight. Xxx

I am both shocked and deeply saddened to hear about poor Sully. I was at Daybreaks helping with his arrival on the 6th Oct and I am certain his trainer will also be equally sad as I am to know what has happened. Sadly anaesthetic does carry a risk but events like this are very rare. Run free Sully with all our loved ones, I feel privileged to have been a small part of your life. Like many I looked forward to seeing you transform into a pet and to go to your forever home but fate has intervened in such a cruel way xx

We are absolutely heartbroken and beyond devastated that Sully unfortunately never came around from his anaesthetic at the vets following neutering today. His heart just decided it was time to stop. A handsome, loving, happy boy, only 3 years old. He arrived at Daybreaks just 11 days ago. In that time he has loved having hugs and lots of TLC and as well as his regular walks, he went to the park with Norman. You may not have found a home but you had your Daybreaks family. No words can say how broken we feel. Run free fella - you will never be forgotten and may your star shine brightly forever xxxx Love Auntie Ruth

It is with heartbreaking news that Winny broke both front legs whilst running. She was xrayed and the found she had brittle bone disease. The kindest decision was therefore made to put her to sleep. Devastated does not cover it. My thoughts are with her family who kindly adopted her in April this year after she was returned and also to Cath who fostered her and found her a home. Run free little one xx
