Daisydog here " when I do odd things mum has videod them on her phone and shown the vet cos I never do them when I'm there"! Doesn't sound like anxiety to me, especially with the space staring - dd used to do the statue thing a lot, less so now, but She was always 'in the moment' if you know what I mean and very aware if I did ttouch. The phone video was hugely helpful - you just have to be quick! Salty hugs from the seaside xx

Some advice needed please..... Brae walks so well on the lead, but over the last 2/3 months, she's started to 'zone out', whereby she'll stand stock still and stare either into space or at an object. When she's in this 'zoned out' state, there's no moving her even with the tempt of treats. Last week she did it whilst crossing a busy road; fortunately John was walking Rosie and there were very patient drivers, but I had no alternative other than to lift Brae and carry her to the pavement. Tonight we've had another 'episode' when she's seen a cat under a car and wouldn't move, so again, I've picked her up and carried her a few paces further down. Has anyone come across this behaviour before? How did you deal with it? Are there any recommendations for a dog behaviourist? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Tash ps... not sure if it's relevant but during these 'zoned out' states, Brae's pupils become very small.

Happy 2nd gotcha day to our little Rosie Po. Can't believe how quickly that time has gone. Thousands of cuddles, hundreds of kisses, our own seat at the vets!, a few tears and many many giggles with our beautiful girl during this time. Biggest hugs gorgeous, Mom, Dad & little sis Brae xxx

Foxy had been doing really well since his epidural nearly 2 weeks ago but at his review today he has lost over 2.5kg and he has started panting a lot again - I can tell he is not so happy - especially as he has been refusing some treats and his favourite food. Blood tests have been done today and we will have the results tomorrow to see what more we can do.
