Hope is sending Diva a sisterly birthday cuddle ready for tomorrow! Hope was concerned she wouldn't get time tomorrow as she is out with friends on a sighthound walk! Your other siblings are in the UK but haven't retired yet, Hope remembers all the fun times you had as pups together, and apologizes for being the bossy one! ????

Daybreaks Diary!

Apologies for no Daybreaks diary updates since Kate's update on Tuesday! Monday and Tuesday were pretty hectic and with Jo off this week on annual leave and poor Kate at a funeral yesterday, I have been covering the kennels and it has been a little mad! I welcomed back Ray, one of our volunteers who moved to Spain 10 years ago! I can't believe where time goes but he is spending some time over here and has slotted straight back in and it is fantastic to have him back! Poor Josh was returned but he really does seem to have issues with something so he has gone out to foster to be assessed and we are hoping to get him checked by a chiropractor first. Bocko and Prince who were returned earlier in the week due to a relationship breakdown, have been quite sad at being back. Prince is off to the vets later this afternoon to have his nose looked at as it is very red and lumpy around the edges. It has warmed up again this afternoon so we have all the paddling pools out and I quite fancy dipping my toes myself! Being short on volunteers I have actually been out on several walks. For those of you who know Bob who owns the kennels, he was rushed into hospital last week with a heart attack. He has now been discharged and doing well. Hence with all that has been happening, my stress levels have been a little high.... a big sloppy kiss from Mikey just puts a smile back on my face! 🙂

Unfortunately Josh has been returned today as he has snapped at his owners for no apparent reason. We are going to get him assessed by a chiropractor to rule out any underlying medical issues.

I just noticed she is Marwood Diva! I am really thrilled she will soon have a sofa of her own. Her sister (now named Hope as she was called Mar at Dogs Trust and I found her racing name on Greyhound history FB site) has brought me a lot of joy!

If she is Marwood Diva, she is the sister of my retired girl Marwood Lark. I think my girl was probably the diva of the litter though! It's their birthday on Saturday. Happy Birthday Diva and happy retirement.

Molly is a shy but very lovely little girl. She went in the small part of the sand run with a visiting Greyhound today and was so happy to follow her around. Having a friend with her gave her such confidence and it was great to see her relaxing and playing. Xxx Molly would love a home with another dog who she could share her life with. Xxx
