This is the one post I never dreamt I would have to make, at least not yet. Our gorgeous Gracie has gained her wings. She became ill a week ago,and despite the best efforts of our own vets and the Willows sadly continued decline until we had to let her go. Gracie was a loving, gentle girl who loved cuddles and fuss. She had a cheeky side and could easily get up to mischief if she thought she could get away with it. She was totally besotted by one of our sons, and even though he is 23, he was still her favourite and would get her cuddles before any one else! Our hearts are truly broken.

Molly has been staying with us for nearly a week. I brought her home last Wednesday evening and took her to the vet for her spay on Thursday. We then decided to keep her at home for a few days to give her a chance to learn to relax and get used to being in a house and with people and other greys. She is an absolute poppet and has a real cheeky side. She is gradually getting more confident and is so happy to see me each morning when I come downstairs. She’s still more nervous around Paul but we have often found that the nervous ones become more brave around women initially and then learn to trust men. She has been very playful at times and would suit a family with older children who will give her time to get to know them, and then play with her whenever she wants! She is fine with our 3 greys who are much older and I think would be happy to have greyhound company in a new home. We haven’t been able to take her out for walks with other types of dog yet due to her recent spay, but we should be able to try this soon and I’ll report back then. In summary, she is adorable, cheeky, playful and very sweet and will make a home a very happy one xx

Django has been to the park today with Norman. Norman says he was perfectly behaved in every way. He travelled well in the car, walked well on the lead and met small dogs with no problems whatsoever. Also had fuss from a 6 year old child with his grandparents. Quite a shy boy but once he is comfortable with you he loves affection and returns it in bucket loads. Because of his shy nature, he may be best suited to a quiet, calm environment but could live easily with other dogs and well behaved children.
