Harry

Hi all. I am Harry's previous owner. Yes Harry has had his problems over the past 4 years we have owned him but only to the outside world. With us and within his own environment Harry has been a lamb. He is a very anxious dog and I can only say that his previous history has been the cause of this. We love Harry to bits and would never have parted with him if circumstances hadn't forced this. He was a major part of our family and it has been devastating to give him up. There was no other course for us after our marriage broke down and neither could look after him alone due to working long shifts etc. I feel for Harry so much as he never asked for any of this. Our home was his sanctuary and giving him up has been a huge wrench. So for all those out there who think he came back to daybreaks for any other reason than the above, you are very, very much mistaken.

Poor Dottie Lottie has been attacked by a West Highland White nearly sank his teeth into her nose. My beautiful quietly confident Jed really growled and snarled at him and guess what the WHW backed off immediately don't know what Jed said!! Not sure if Jed was protecting me or Lottie or in fact both!! Jed is no pushover.

Had the pleasure of meeting this "iceberg" today at the kennels. Why iceberg? over 90% of Nosey is behind bars with just a little nose poking through which just loves a rub, then he stands so elegantly to have the rest of him fussed, what a lovely lad.

The lovely Spritz came along today with her kennel mate Billy Bob, me Paul and Jess to Lyndon Methodist Church's Summer Extravaganza. She was golden and took the terrible weather in her stride. She had some lovely cuddles and settled on her bed in the dry under the gazebo. What a star she is, not to mention the fact she's a real cuddle monster. She gets my cuddle for today and I'll promise tomorrows to Billy Bob. XX

Podge has had a fantastic afternoon in Shirley fundraising. He was an absolute super star, taking fuss from all who went past! Plenty of donations so looking forward to hearing how much was raised, fingers crossed lots to help look after all the wonderful pooches 🙂

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Well had an interesting walk this morning. Our golfers have a match on today so there were white notices on the tees which Jed decided he didn't like so he was growling at each one all nine of them and crab stepping round them, Lottie decided to walk behind me and tripped over my heels doing a nose dive into the fairway! Never a dull moment with my two!

We are so disappointed that we can't make the Great Greyhound Walk on Sat, we were so looking forward to it. Unfortunately Charlie Mouse has wrenched his neck & is on 9 painkillers a day & only allowed 10 mins walk a day! He was grabbed by the neck & apprehended at training by the trainer for going for a new dog & trying to put him in order! He is chipper though, if a little spaced! So we wish everyone a great walk & send lots of love - Sam & I will be at home with the 2 invalids having a picnic in the garden & will see everyone at the Daybreaks birthday x
