Ah -you have succumbed to the magic of the greyhound! Yes, this is how it happens - one minute you don't own one and the next minute you somehow do! But you will never regret it, they are truly beautiful dogs. Much happiness to you and lovely Kleio. Xx

Max, you are definitely a peoples dog! You just love to be lying up against someone being fussed. You also like your comfort as Shanesmum said! I especially liked the photo Ruth showed me of you sitting on her lap! See you on Wednesday. Xx

Good gracious ! She certainly does. Thank you Caroline. There's not a day goes by when I don't suggest to my husband we have a companion for our beautiful Willow. He just won't give in. I will not be deterred and I keep chipping away. I look longingly every day at the website. He calls it 'obsessed' - ha ha - I say 'possibly' but it's always a feast for the eyes. However I've been trying for several years to have more than one greyhound with no success, so nobody hold your breath!! Hey ho.

Very easily as they are stunning boys and girls. We are very excited and can't wait for her to come home xxx Can I just add that the whole Daybreaks Kennels are a wonderful set up run by wonderful people xxx

    I’m Homed

I met Harry for the first time yesterday afternoon. He had had a busy morning out at the party, and was well behaved amongst the crowds, noise & other dogs but I think he was quite glad to be back round in the quiet & familiarity of the kennels though- it must have been a bit of a daunting experience for him but he handled it well. I spent some time sitting with him in his kennel later, he jumped up and sat on the other end of his bed and enjoyed some fuss - in fact when I stopped stroking him he pawed at me to carry on. He came out later and ate all his dinner and had a lovely lean on my legs. This boy just needs plenty of time & patience to understand the things that make him anxious and then begin to address them. It was a real pleasure to spend some time with him yesterday, and I hope he continues to settle and grow in confidence as time goes by.

Things that make me hide behind the sofa:- The washing machine. The TV, when its loud (to drown out the washing machine) Loud noises from outside Mom seezing Mom blowing her nose (she has hay fever) I'm not as confident as I was at the kennells when I had lots of Grey Friends but I said hello to a black lab and a springer spaniel this morning and that made me more content. I DONT LIKE:- The Bus Scarey Lorries Dogs-who-sniff-ones bits-too often. Loud Bangs Outside Dark. (Inside dark's ok) My mom thinks I'm some kind of genius because yesterday we were watching QVC on the TV and they said DYSON. I walked up to the TV, gave the DYSON Fan a nose bump, walked up to my Mom's Dyson Cleaner, gave it a nose bump and came back. Think I'll just humour her though. Thanks for the hug Auntie Kate. Sending you my nicest nose bump and a little lick. Lots of love to all at Daybreaks xx Pip xxxx

Max came back into the kitchen after his day out at the party. I was sitting on the duvet on the floor with a cup of tea just taking 5 minutes before feeding started, and Max decided that he would like to come and share the duvet with me, well actually not really share but more take over! For a big boy he can occupy a small space - he sat down beside me then draped his front legs across my knees and leaned! I soon got the message and let him have the duvet to himself! What an absolute treasure he is, he just loves to be around you and takes his treats so gently from you. Hope your forever sofa is just around the corner sweetheart. Xxxx
