Daybreaks Diary!

We have an absolutely full house at Daybreaks at the moment. Tulip , Billy B,Danny are reserved. We have teeny Tiny and Brenda who are our latest new arrivals, Phoebe (Baby) who was returned this week, Roxie, Elm and Tara all looking for wonderful new homes. We also have Leo who was a hard to home boy back in for a short respite stay with us. I am very grateful to Michael one of our volunteers who has helped all day and Emily, Shirley and Elizabeth who all helped in different ways to get us through the day! As we were so short of helpers the residents spent some time int he sand run this morning and I went for walks this afternoon with Elizabeth. It has been a beautiful sunny day and it is lovely to not have to coat all the residents up and spending money on underbed and wall heaters. We even had the paddling pool out and Phoebe had a dip but not for long! The weekend is upon us and I hope a few more of our beautiful residents will get chosen x

Phoebe (Baby)

Phoebe was such a pleasure to have been part of her life, despite her snapping, she’s a beautiful, playful and loving girl. Loves jumping up for hugs, always so excited to see you when you got home. So so sad things went the way they did. Whom ever can give her a new home, you will be very lucky. Miss her cuddles, my darling girl. Xx

Sadly Phoebe has been returned today. She has been snapping at her family and visitors so we are going to assess her to find out why she is doing this. Since arriving back she has settled well - she is very beautiful x

Monty came to visit us yesterday. He brought with him treats for our current Daybreaks guests...Egg Custards to help him to celebrate his Birthday! :)) Well, it was a bonkers day and I forgot all about those scrummy cakes sitting in the fridge....so our boys and girls had them today. They loved them! Thank you so much to Monty. Xxx I kept quiet when I got home tonight, Skip didn't come with me to the kennels today, he would be so gutted to have missed out on his favourite treat! Xxx Sorry my darling. Xxx
