Lucy spent some time in the large run this afternoon. Liam one of our students gave her a groom which she enjoyed. We introduced her to my Skip and one of our recently homed girls, Rosie who was visiting with her Dad. She was a lot more relaxed with the company of other dogs around her and gave her the confidence to come forward to say Hello when she saw them happily accepting fuss from other people. She is such a lovley girl who we feel would benefit greatly from the company of another dog in her forever home. Xxx

Lucy is a stunningly pretty girl. She is not too sure about people at the moment but she gets on really well with other dogs who seem to give her confidence. Looking forward to seeing this girl blossom. Xxxxx

So very happy for the gorgeous River. What a lucky boy he is to have found his forever home. I had a call yesterday from a friend of the lady who has adopted this lovely boy to say very sadly the lady had very suddenly lost her greyhound on Saturday. She desperately wanted to visit us to find a new companion. I mentioned River, gave them some information about his circumstances and said I thought he would be the ideal boy, pleased to see that they agreed and have taken this super lad home. He so deserves to be happy and loved, I am very sure he will be. Good luck sweet boy. X

Walked Minnie on Sunday she was so great on the lead, settled down well now I cannot believe she's not been snapped up yet. Such a pretty gir too. Time Minnie found her forever home.

Iv been looking after Robin for 4 weeks now and she has been very good in the house and with her Foster sisters she is still a bit nervous at times but when she gets to know she is loved and safe she is a great girl but for me its going to be a sad day tomorrow as she is going to her new home I'm going to miss her very much but I wish her well in her new home and i hope the new family have a great time with her like I have

Daybreaks Diary!

A very busy day. Sadly our lovely Denise is not very well and so was not in today. Hoping she feels better soon. Thanks to everyone for their help today. Lorna also had a couple of Pampers booked. We had the Sharron Alexandra photo shoot today, it was very busy. Can't wait to see my little Peanuts photos. Peanut made sure she was kept busy by being cute and making friends with all the visitors! There are two more sessions in the diary, one in June and another in September, raffle tickets will be available on both occasions, the prize being your dogs photo will be in next year's Daybreaks calendar, so if you book a slot on either of the following sessions you can enter the raffle. It has to be worth having a go or two. All dogs had morning and afternoon walks. Gorgeous Chloe was reserved and is going out on trial next Sunday. River was a happy waggy boy despite finding himself back in Kennels. I have a feeling his stay may be a very short one (fingers crossed)!! Many thanks to Liz for taking Sammy for an outing today, he had a glowing report on his return. Well, as always stay safe and well. X

Sammy

Sammy came with me to Bruten Park today. He is a really happy boy, who trots beautifully. He travelled well in the car, although he needed a hand getting in. He behaved impeccably in the park and demonstrated only positive interest on other dogs. Once we had walked through the park, he came in a few shops with me and waited patiently whilst made my selections. After that we walked to the train station to meet my husband off the train. He took all of these experiences in his stride and was a pleasure to take out. Here's hoping that he doesn't have to wait long for his new home xx
