What a very sweet and pretty girl Winner is...I was greeeted with a gently wagging tail when I arrived this morning and she was more than happy to come over to see me and have some fuss. She is lovely! Xxx

It was lovely meeting you today Georgie. You are a gentle quiet girl but I think there may be a fun loving side to you that is trying to come through. Perhaps when you settle down more we will see this happen. My Belle said hello and wasn't too sure what to make of you. Equally you were not sure whether to just meet and greet or try to play. Either way tails were wagging as you were both very polite. Sorry to say but Its just a bit too soon for me to consider taking things any further at this stage but I am sure you will make an excellent loving addition to your forever family when your chance comes xx

I know after the loss of your fabulous Cadbury it must have been difficult, I am sure he is looking down and saying how happy he is that you have offered another hound a home.xx

Georgie is a very quiet girl who seems at the moment to be a little unsure of the outside world. On leaving the kennels for Elmdon Park she kept turning round as if to say I'd rather stay where I am. On arriving at the park she met other breeds without any reaction even allowing one puppy to sniff all round her without any problems. For anyone perhaps looking for a quiet loving dog to home I think Georgie would be ideal. I'm sure she could also live with other dogs

Today Toby went green and officially became a LLoyd.He is our 9th greyhound from daybreaks.He has such a loving sunny disposition and wins hearts wherever he goes.Our other greyhound Maddie seems to like him too which is what sealed the deal.He is going to be spolit rotten.Many thanks to Ruth and Kate for all their help.

Daybreaks Diary!

Another busy day, thanks to everyone for their help today. The weather was decidedly undecided! Thankfully it brightened up later on. I met Snowy a new arrival from earlier in the week, he is still unsure of the new surroundings and is not eating too well. Hopefully this will change in the next couple of days when more settled. Our two new arrivals today are also lovely, thanks to Annie for bathing them and doing their arrival checks. Raffle tickets for the hounds Easter parade are on sale, you can pop in to the Kennels or pay by card over the phone. The inmates were all tucked up with their fleece coats and heating on. As always, stay safe and well everyone. X
