I’m Homed
I took Dee on a visit to her new home last night to do the home check. She settled onto a duvet there and didn't want to move when it was time to go! I think she was telling us she approved! I have been taking her home as she didn't settle well at the kennels with not wanting to get off her bed or eat.... this little girl has become much more confident, eats well and wags her tail a lot - just what we like! x

Daybreaks Diary!

Jo was on the Vet run this morning as it was Denver's turn for his neutering op. He was a bright lad when she picked him up this afternoon and happily polished off his supper! It was a steady day, with visitors for the sand run and kind donations of towels and bedding - many thanks, with a full kennels they are very much appreciated. The new arrivals from yesterday are both lovely. Johnny is a very handsome lad who is friendly, but is understandably a little unsure of things. Little Roxy bless her is a very nervy girl, she spent most of the day lying on the floor of her kennel, despite having 2 comfy beds to choose from, but happily when she went back in after her supper she jumped up on the big bed. We have made her a snuggle nest with a big "V" pillow to try to make her feel a bit more secure. I am sure that give a few days she will start to relax and realize that she is in a safe place. We got health checks and grooming done, and the boys & girls enjoyed 2 walks in some lovely sunshine. Having said that, it is starting to go chilly now so it's heaters on in the blocks as we tuck the boys & girls up for the night. Well the weekend is here again - and the diary shows it to be another busy one. I shall raise a glass or 2 later to welcome our new arrivals and hope they settle soon, and hope for some red or green signs to appear by Monday morning. First thing this moring Ruth took beautiful little Dee for her neutering operation. She also picked her up this afternoon and took her home. Dee has been staying with Ruth and Andy since she arrived at Daybreaks and will soon be going to her new home. Xxx We had two lovely new arrivals today; Roxy and Johnny :)) Many thanks to Shirley and CJ for bathing them and carrying out their health checks. They are both delightful. :)) Alan and Declan had a trip to the warehouse. Xx Erik paid us a visit with his two good naughty boys Caesar and Barney :)) Caesar is looking great and is a very happy boy. :)) Many thanks to everyone for your help today, we are so grateful. :)) Xxx

Daybreaks Diary!

It was a busy day today...this morning saw our lovely little Sophie reserved. :)) She is a real bundle of fun and such a happy girl. Xxx Norman took Buick for a trip to the park. He had a great time. :)) Hope his forever home soon comes along. Xxx This afternoon Bella was reserved. :)) She is joining a big family of dogs, cats and another Greyhound! Xxx It's brilliant to see so many of our wonderful Greyhounds reserved and homed recently. We have two more new arrivals due in this week. Xxx Richard and Declan were kept busy with lots of jobs around the kennels....thanks so much. Xxx Thank you to everyone for all your help today. Xxx
