Isla
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Isla came along to the Stratford walk with Liam today and what a good girl she is. She entranced us with her happy nature and beautiful good looks. A Great Dane puppy caught her attention and they played nicely together - her tail didn't stop wagging. She enjoyed plenty of fuss and the treats on offer, and snoozed in the car on the way back to the kennels. Isla you are a delight. Thank you for being with us today. xxxx

Liam
I’m Homed
Liam came with Isla on the Stratford walk today and what a gorgeous boy he is. They travelled well in the car together. He seemed happy to be out and about and was very well behaved, walking beautifully next to the other dogs. As Deb mentioned, he entertained us all by 'sitting' on the grass and was intrigued by a paper bag, blowing in the breeze. He was much enamoured by a female Great Dane puppy, who seemed quite relaxed by the attention. I love this boy - and I love the little white patch under his tail that I hadn't noticed until he jumped out of the car. Unique! Thank you Liam, for being with us today. xxxxxxx

Nina
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Nina is settling in very well she has been as good as gold so far! We love her to bits and cant wait to take her for her walks. The cuddles we receive from her are plentiful, shes adorable. We will be taking her on the training session on saturday. Unforunately we couldnt make the stratford walk today but definately will be there next time as itd be good for her to stay in touch with the other greyhounds. We hope that Sam finds a home soon, we had a tough decision between him and nina! In the end it was ninas big cute eyes that did it 🙂 but sam is a lovely, handsome dog. Good luck to them all. Right now nina is fast asleep in front of our lovely warm log burner. I think shes happy 😉 x

Boo

Hi boo is taking more forward steps shes taking treats from mick massive leap of faith given a couple of days ago when she saw a chap with a walking stick she was terrified! boo is playing with the girls this morning she raided the toy box and was so excited doing this one toy after another it was like a zillion birthday presents at once for her and the house had them in every room ! boo now comes when i call her, she knows on the bed and lye down and she spent lots of time with me today in the garden. this little girl is so sweet we dont know we have her most of the time. Im hoping to take her to training beginers class if she carries on blossoming at present it would be too much for her and the may not be a time that its possible as shes so nervous with strangers i so desperatley want to help this little girl i cant stress enough how wonderful she is and wispers mums comments are to be eccohed but shes found a place in our hearts and we will do all we can for her linda thanks for the turkey mince recipe boo n the girls loved it x

Torres

I can only echo what Deb has said, Torres came for a visit today after the stratford walk and I have to say I have fallen for him !!!! He was at our house along with 9 other grey hounds !!! Yes 9 !!! He was amazing interacted amazingly, I cannot believe he has not been in a house before, he was so loving and so chilled and took everything in his stride, I really love this little fella I just hope that he finds a home very soon as I cannot get him out of my mind, I just wished that he could have stayed here, but alas it cannot be at the moment, but if there was anyway we could have three then he would be the one, Torres is a very very special boy xx

I am so glad that Torres had a lovely day out in the sunshine today. In the kennels you can generally find him lying flat out on his bed watching the world go by - he does love to chill out! Its great for him to be introduced to all the new sights & sounds, and it sounds like he did really well on is first big adventure into the world. Big cuddles for a beautiful big boy. xxx

Albert is indeed a very handsome and regal boy. He enjoyed playing with a stuffed toy on Friday afternoon, trotting around with it and generally giving it a good old chew, it's so lovely to see them relaxing and starting to play. Big cuddles for you Albie. xx
