Hi Rosie, our home visit went well yesterday with Debbie; we just have to raise the height of our fence and block a gap between ours & neighbours, but these will be done within the next week I promise and then we'll be able to bring you home with us beautiful. Have checked out several bedding options for you today and bought you a duvet (for the back of the car) along with your first 'home' soft toothbrush. I even found myself looking at the best value/quality nappy bags in readiness for our walks together! We're coming to the kennels on Saturday and can't wait to have lots more cuddles with you gorgeous. Our relatives are excited about meeting you (all in good time) but not as much as we are about you making our home a 'complete' family. Big cuddles Rosie Posy... Tash & John xx

This little girl shares a mum with my Breeze and looks so very much like her, But if they share more than looks she will be the sweetest most loving, happy, waggly girlie. Maybe a little timid with something new. My cuddle for her from her big sister. Xxx

Hi blueangel, Shanesmum and Caro – thank you for your messages. I really enjoyed meeting you at the kennels blueangel and I did fall in love with Al when I saw him. I hope he is enjoying having a holiday. He is currently fast asleep on a rug next to me with his duck toy. The family that adopts him will have to adopt a chewed, slimy, smelly duck toy too! Al keeps going off with his toy and finding places to hide it and I am not sure why – does he think someone will take it? I have seen him hide it behind the curtain, under a coffee table and behind a cupboard and then he goes and retrieves it later! All going very well with Al. I am falling very hard for him I have to say. We went to Ryton Pools yesterday and Al did pull initially as there was so much to see – ducks, children, big dogs and little dogs and all off lead (Al was on the lead and muzzled of course). Al was pretty good with the dogs running around him but did get nervous when an enthusiastic Labrador sniffed his bum several times. We did have a three piddles in the sitting room and kitchen yesterday but no more overnight or today and he seemed to sleep well last night. I am new to greyhound fostering/owning and I have a couple of queries if anyone can help – Al occasionally walks around with his tongue out to side – is this ok? It does look very cute (see pic). He does also whimper in the night or during the day every now and again. I ignore it when he does it and after looking on YouTube, it is not singing. Is he bored or crying because he is sad or is he trying to get attention?

Boo had a good nights sleepover she was golden brilliant when walking this morning and shes loved pilchards in her food after getting home todsy this little lass came for fuss and she had loads ! i thought that may have taken some time but her tail just kept wagging and she came back several times for love which was fab. Boo is such a sweetie shes nervous but you can see the personaluty wanting to jump out A fter having had a lovely lad who was nervous thetes no buying into that and i am astounded with how settled she is now. What a fabulous special little girl
