Sadly Tilly has been returned today. She went for the family cat and sadly injured it where it consequently died. The family told us that up until today she has done well with the cat and has found much more confidence recently since they adopted another greyhound from Bark Inn Kennels. Her owners tell us that she can be anxious with other dogs but great with other greyhounds and possibly suited with older children. We are very sorry that such sad circumstances have occurred.

So, so happy for this special boy. We had lovely goodbye kisses on Friday and I really will miss that lovely face peeking out from his kennel. From what LadyVictoria said it sounds like he couldn't wait to get started on his new life - and who can blame him! Be so very happy sweetheart, all the best for the future. xx

Boo - what I can say about Boo! She really is very nervous of people she doesn't know..... I was doing so paperwork yesterday at home so she was on the window seat upstairs (where her latest photo of her is) and my friend popped round. As she approached her gently, she leapt off the window seat, straight across my desk - paperwork and coffee went flying and she ran into the hall 🙁 With people she knows she is much better - she wags her tail but still has a habit of dropping down submissively as you approach her sometimes. She had a few accidents in the house yesterday but when left yesterday evening for several hours we came home to no accidents 🙂 Last night she was left downstairs and again she was dry all night. She is fine unmuzzled with all of our 6 greys. She does have a habit of standing over ours sometimes (I think asserting dominance?) but we stop this by telling her a firm 'no'. As she knows me so well, I do get her 'smiling' at me and she has a great appetite. We need an extremely understanding and patient family who can offer this girl a home. It is such a shame if she could overcome her fear she could start enjoying life more. 🙁

Al is such a loving dog he was great with the children and Iris, it was not his fault we had to bring him back we just felt he was too large for our family and home. I hope he finds a loving home soon as he deserves it! X

Angie is settling in well, just a little nervous but I'm sure we will get her to come out of her shell. Been doing some research tonight to find that both Angie and Iris's sires were from Droopys stud and Angie's sires sire was Top Honcho!

It was a very happy Bandit who went off to his new home today! He dived into the car without a backward glance.....just as it should be, but we will all miss him very much. Received a call a short while ago to say he has arrived safe and sound at his new home in Exeter and is fast asleep on his bed. He has a busy day tomorrow accompanying his new owner to work; after breakfast at their local dog friendly cafe!! Have a lovely life Bandit. Xxx
