Joey (Mr Grey Face!)

Update on Joeys off lead adventures...Today hubby let Joey off in the same field, had a lovely time, Joey went and did lots and lots of sniffing. Hubby tried to call Joey away from his sniff spot, Joey looked up but didn't move and carried on sniffing. Hubby whistled, called several more times but same response from Joey. Hubby started walking away with Milly in the direction of the house, turned around, Joey in same place sniffing. Hubby called and whistled again - Joey BARKED!! LOUDLY! Hubby called and whistled - joey barked again!! Repeat x5! Hubby walked over to Joey who then ran towards him, circled him 3 times, came close then hopped away again!! Finally Joey came over to hubby for some cuddles and love after having been very cheeky!! More work required! xx

Mels just flopped out now!she looks very tired. She'll probably get exited for a walk in a minute. I have found that she puts her head down when she is about to charge. Please give Melody more cuddles as she really deserves them.

A very sad day today, we lost our good friend. Max turned out to be the very best, loyal, soft beautiful dog you could ever wish to share your life with. We will all miss him greatly.

Ha Merlin it sounds like you are keeping Aunty Ruth on her toes, and your dental hasn't stopped you for a moment!! I really hope you don't have to wait too much longer for your forever home sweetheart - you have so much to give and will be a joy to have in someone's family - as long as they have lots of energy to keep up with you! Thank you Julie, it wasn't easy. I hope this lovely little girl gets a new home soon, she just wasn't right for our family, many a tear have been shed as she is missed so much. Good luck sweety, big cuddle. x

Merlin
Over the Rainbow Bridge
I brought home the lovely Merlin last night after another dental where he lost more teeth. 🙁 He is the sweetest boy going! Full of life - he just makes you smile and he just doesn't stop wagging his tail. We have had all the toys out of the toy box, had a tug o war game with shake the snake and he has run around with my slippers already this morning! His best trick wasn't jumping on the sofa when I had a cup of coffee in my hand..... ah well - out came the carpet cleaner - it probably needed doing anyway! This fella would suit someone who has energy and time to give to his happy nature - he was good with the other breeds at the vets yesterday but his eyes nearly fell out of his head at the rabbit in the carrier!!!!!! Once he gets used to his routine he will settle - he cried a little last night but was quiet and clean and all night x
