Over the Rainbow Bridge
We had a lovely weekend in Yorkshire and Crofty travelled so well. He insisted we stand at a gate to a field to stare at the sheep with fluffy white coats and black faces for a good 10 minutes in the rain. He slept downstairs in his second home he has never been before with no problems. He enjoyed a bone from the local butchers. When we returned home I tried to get him to lie down on his new off the floor bed. Although only suspended by approx 8" off the floor I was beginning to think we were going to have a repeat of the truck scenario. As soon as I gave up and walked away as I turned around he was up and lay down.

Exactly 2 years ago was the last time I had a green, hole and bald free lawn, the last time I could leave food on the work top, the last time I would go on a dog-loss holiday, the last time I would be a free agent, the last day not to have to walk in the rain and cold after a day's work, but also the last day ever to be without loving my first dog with all of my heart. Happy 'Gotcha Day Eve' to my little Bess xxxx

Just want to say a big thank you to Beckie and Pete for bringing Robbie to his new home today, and making plans to meet up for walks 🙂 He has eaten all his tea, had a big drink and got comfy in the 'corner' bed.
