Kizzy slept soundly all night , hasn't tackled the stairs yet but don't think it will be long. Popped into Stratford this morning for a couple of hrs and left Kizzy with free run of the house and no problems there. Its her 4th Birthday today so got her a new jazzy pink house collar. All over the moon . Happy New Year to you all

Ah! Cooper............you are so gorgeous. I know that some dogs get fostered..........is Cooper available for fostering?? Currently I am on long term sick leave so would be able to give a lot to this wonderful boy, and he would help me get out without having a panic attack......

Hi lovegreys, the feeling was mutual...Cooper had such a lovely day with you. It was obvious he just didn't want you to leave without him! If only we could convince Oscar, your cat to like him....Xxx

    I’m Homed

Cooper came with us today to visit our home town of Stratford upon Avon. This boy is not only beautiful on the outside but, more importantly, on the inside too. His behaviour was perfect. We went for a nice long walk, meeting various breeds of dogs with no reaction other than 'curious ears'. He walked beautifully on the lead, briskly by my side but attentive to my pace. We stopped for coffee and water in an obliging cafe, where he sat happily on a portable blanket. And this was his first visit to the big wide world!! Added to all this he is the most loving, intelligent boy you could imagine. I felt incredibly proud to be with him. If anyone has seen the scene in the film 'Ghost' when Whoopi Goldberg reticently hands over the cheque for a million dollars to the Nuns, you may have some idea of how my husband and I felt handing him back to Daybreaks at the end of the day. Cooper, you are wonderful. xxx

Daisydog here ' Sending wags and licky kisses for a Happy and Peaceful 2014 to all my chums. It's so lovely to read all the heartwarming stories about the Daybreaks residents and their adventures and rehoming news, especially at this time of year. It's been an eventful year for me too- I've learnt to read and write - only joking - mums doing this for me - moving to the seaside and discovering the big wide world just wants to feed me biscuits and say how pretty I am. Today I let the carpet fitter stroke me in my basket..........wow'. Love You Daisydog. xxx P.S. Mum says I was just like Boo and boy, just look at me now!
