    I’m Homed

Jack was a star at our house today. Made friends with 1 of our dogs max and took lots of rubbish/ domination from our other dog Zak. Towards the end he was starting to stand his ground and I was glad. Zak was really pushing his luck too far. However, they are both so similar with their love of toys/ snuggling up that I am positive they will be firm friends once they get used to each other. Well done Max and Jack xx

Kitty won't get around Karen that easily, as she is to heavy for Karen to pick up. Last night we had a an hour session of crying at the new stair gate when we went to bed, its not easy to ignore her. But she is now lying on her back looking cute wanting her tummy rubbing!

Boo went to Brueton Park this afternoon with Luke. She is extremely relaxed on the lead and behaved perfectly with the other breeds of dogs(large and small) that she met. Although she will always probably be quite a shy girl she is definitely growing in confidence the more she gets out and about in the big wide world. Once in her permanent home with people she knows and trusts her true loving gentle nature will flourish.

Kizzy is settling in well . Currently sound asleep on her new bed following a nice long walk where she saw cats, dogs, ducks, sheep and horses and didn't even bat an eye lid and lots of jumping around in the garden. She will have a great life with us , will take some pics soon . Thank you for everything . Ian & Terri

    I’m Homed

I took 'Laid Back Luke' to Brueton Park in Solihull this afternoon after he was finally persuaded reluctantly to get off his bed that he was sleeping on in the Daybreaks kitchen! He travelled perfectly in the car with Boo. He met several other breeds of dog (large and small) in the park and behaved perfectly towards all of them. When meeting small children he loved the affection he received but was really quite nervous when they were cycling past. he seems a cautious quiet dog who though perfectly behaved towards children might find a noisy home quite tricky to deal with. He seems to enjoy a quiet life! After returning to Daybreaks he was cat tested with quite encouraging results. Although he needs to be tried again there seems a good chance he may possibly be cat friendly. He is a really loveable friendly lad who deserves to find an equally loving forever home.

  • Eddie (Biffo)

    I’m Homed

A few people asked me to post updates of how Biffo ('Eddie' to us) is getting on in his trial home. He has been such a good boy and seems to be adapting really quickly to life in a family home. He is quiet through the night (despite being shut in our dining room), and, after an accident on his first day, seems to have understood where to go to the loo. He is great with our little girl and visitors to the house, and relations with the cat are improving, although the cat is keeping out of the way a lot of the time! Fingers crossed that things keep going smoothly and this lovely boy can stay with us permanently.
