Being trusted to 'babysit' Jack briefly whilst my daughter/ son-in-law are visiting. He's being a very good boy although a little unsettled which is to be expected. It's all so new and strange!

It's a while since I've been really tempted by a greyhound on here (I've been very restrained!) but Luke looks and sounds fantastic. Is he cat friendly?! (hubby hoping you say no!) If he is nervous don't be put off, its sooo rewarding when a nervous grey starts to become more confident and give love back, and they have such a lot of love to give!!

Oh Kitty Koo , you have got to hand it her her Martyn, she is not stupid ha ha, Kitty will have you trained in no time !!!!! 🙂 Ps she probably thinks if I pretend I cannot get down the stairs, I will be carried !!! Our two have us trained to lift them into the car as they pretend they cannot jump !! However when I put treats in their food bowl they jump so high they nearly hit the ceiling ..... Ummmmm

The weather is vile, I'm not in work, however, I've still got chores and things to do unlike a certain black greyhound and her sister Belle fast asleep on my bed without a care in the world. Anyway, happy New Year to everyone, hope the new year is a happy and healthy one for you and all greyhounds. Here's to 2014 being Daybreaks highest adoption figures on record xxxxxx

Oh no Zac this is awful, just when we thought you had got settled again so quickly, obviously being at Aunty Lorraine's cheered you up! On the plus side though, at least you have shown that in all other respects, including other breeds, you are a real star and, as Lady Victoria says, there will be a cat free home out there for you my lovely boy - just be patient a little while longer and lets hope that the new year brings a new home for you. Thinking of you, big cuddles precious. xxxxxxxx

Jess is doing fantastic..... she now knows where wee wee goes (not in the hall way!) She takes herself off into the 'dog room' when she has had enough of company and you can often find her in a bed up the corner or on the window seat. We have had numerous visitors and their dogs to our house and she has been great with them. he is eating well now so can put on the weight she initially lost. She is great at being left when we go out. She is not bothered at all with Sara's non greyhounds that visit the kennels - Louis and Charlie, but intrigued with other breeds she hasn't met before. Due to her stressing so much in the kennels, she is continuing to stop at our house until she finds a home. She is no trouble what so ever however we would like her to settle into her own family soon - so if you are interested or would like to meet her, please give us a call! x

Luke is such a beautiful, calm, gentle boy - he just sits on the mat in the office and just doesn't move. He is absolutely golden. With visiting dogs to the office he just lays his head on their backs - as gorgeous Barney found a home, this boy is now taking up residence in the office when I am at the kennels - beautiful boy xxxx

Zac is no longer reserved. Unfortunately he is not cat friendly; therefore Dingo's family are sadly unable to offer him a home at this time. Lorraine has taken him home again tonight. He is a great lad and I am sure there must be the perfect home for him...without a kitty cat! Xxx

Belle has had a lovely Christmas & is coming on leaps & bounds (actually she's stopped leaping about so much so that's a but misleading!!) She waits for her feed, lies down & sits on command & I'm happy to report that there have still been no accidents since she came to us! Lets hope the new year brings happy news for this gorgeous girl!! X x x

I would love to re-unite Jack and Ellie but I am not sure we have space for two! They would make such a cute couple though. If i win on the euromillions tomorrow her and bandit are coming home with us!
