Pip has been with us for a few days now and he has settled in just fine. He has met Freya, our Golden Retriever and gets on well with her - although he was quite excited when he first saw her he soon settled down and went to explore the garden as that was clearly far more fascinating! Initially he did bark a little at night after we went to bed but this has lessened significantly with each passing day. I imagine he just needs a little extra time to settle into things here. Pip is a real sweetheart in the house as he just loves fuss and cuddles. He would happily stand next to me all day being stroked and scratched as he really does thrive on love and attention. Walks, however, are a slightly different ballgame! When Pip sees another dog out on walks he gets very excited, pulls and announces proudly to the whole neighborhood that he has just spotted another canine. None of this is malicious at all in any way, Pip has not got a mean bone in his body, but he just does not currently understand the correct way to greet other dogs. I am sure that with some training, which I shall start during his stay with me, he will soon learn how to be a perfect gentleman when out and about! I aim to come to the walk at Stratford Racecourse on Sunday and I will be bringing Pip along with me if anybody is interested in meeting him. As a final note I would like to add that Pip is just the sweetest and most affectionate lad and that it is a joy to have him stay with us.

Ellie is such a sweet little girl who is very affectionate and friendly and just loves to be around people. She enjoyed being groomed today and stood very nicely lapping up all the attention bless her. xx

Brett is a lovely boy, granted he can be a bit noisy in kennels at times, but he's just reminding us that he's there and not to forget him! He is very good out on a walk and is very friendly. xx

I just love this boy! I walked him and the lovely Maisie together today, looks like he may have found his new girlfriend when his current partner Autumn goes off to her forever home! They walked beautifully together, and Bandit is such a sweet boy - really hope his own home comes along very soon. Big cuddles my lovely boy. xxx

Gosh this boy is a stunner. Granted he is a big, strong lad - but he is very friendly and happy and loves to be out on a walk and, for such a big boy, is good on his lead and very easy to walk.xx

Congratulations Cassey on getting a foster home !! you have been playing on my mind so much I have not really been able to think about anything else, trying to figure out how we could take three to work etc etc !!! so I am so relived that you are in a Foster home, you look like a cross between my lovely old dog charlie and Bertie !! anyway just fantastic news , really cheered me up 🙂

Cassie went to her new foster home today travelling perfectly in the car. She met her new companions (greys and non grey) with no issues whatsoever. She is very bewildered and nervous at the moment but I'm sure that once settled into a new permanent home her true loving gentle nature will be discovered by the lucky family that adopts her. She will be coming to the Stratford Walk this Sunday and anyone who would like to come along and meet this beautiful girl will be very welcome to do so.
