I am a big supporter of black greyhound boys because they seem to be overlooked and should I be allowed another dog that would be my choice however looking at the new photo's this girl has to be one of the most stunning and prettiest greyhounds ever to grace Daybreaks.Hopefully with the help of Lena and Lola this gorgeous girl might get a new home for Christmas.

Our Emily is 6½ years - I wish she would slow down! She's still as lively today as she was when we first had her at 3 years. Cassie looks such a sweet little thing, there's a family out there for her, they just don't know it yet. Mand x

Poor Cassie. She sounds totally bewildered by all the change in her life I suppose. She is totally gorgeous so I hope she gets a home very soon. Anyone worried about the fact that she is 7 (because they think a younger dog is preferable) should take a leaf out of the book of the lovely family who recently adopted Cheeky (now Kiki) anothere returnee at 10 years old. She is their first greyhound and has brought them so much joy it is wonderful , and to see her in the home environment its like she has been there forever. So the older dogs still have so much to give. Anyway....we will be at Melbicks on Sunday with Lola & Lena doing our best to encourage any 'would be' greyhound owners to take the plunge - sooner rather than later!! xxxx

Cassie has been coming home with me as she was so stressed at the kennels. She is so good - great with my 6 greys, totally house trained, can be left (we were out last night and got home in the early hours and she just slept all evening on the window seat and didn't move!). She is a bit fickle with her eating as she will run away from her bowl if things distract her - I just feel so sad for her. x

Reuben is a lovely boy and he has fitted in really well with Nina and Jonty so far. Princess Badger is not impressed with the new arrival as she was previously the only one who came upstairs. But she is all mouth and trousers and hopefully will stop sulking and stalking him in a day or two xx

Please dont be down Ruth, Our girlie as you know was at a roadshow when we fell for her we didnt go out looking for a dog. If it hadnt been that way i would have waited for the weather to be a little better, the garden less muddy( Breeze and James our 13yr old racing round the house"playing") and not to mention xmas with all the time that takes up. We were lucky we have a grey so our lives already take account of him and his needs. Lets hope that people are waiting until after xmas to adopt , cant think of a worse time with long days shopping,long nights out partying and going away to be with family and friends. But i can say 100% that at least 1 more dog will go green before the end of the year. Xxx
