So sorry Maxsmum to hear how serious it was for Zeus. It must have been a very traumatic experience for you all. I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

This must have been very frightening for you, wonder whatever caused it. I understand your decision in returning Den, could not have been an easy one to make but you would always be on tender hooks and never really be at ease with the situation again (that's how I would feel). Den will find a suitable home I am sure, he's such a lovely dog. I hope that Zeus makes a speedy recovery.

maxsmum Zeus is still in hospital, we have visited him today, he is still not eating but is on a drip. With regard to Den we had him for seven weeks and during that time all seemed to be going well, which doesn't account for the unprovoked vicious attack on Zeus. On a lighter note Max has put on a bit of weight so he's not so ribby.

Can I echo the comments made by Takeaflight regarding Den. Having been with him at close quarters on our Stratford Roadshows while he was being fostered by Caroline I can say his behaviour was always impeccable with the greys he was frequently at close quarters with. He loved meeting people, no problems with children and while at Pets at Home showed no bad reaction to other breeds he met. He certainly deserves to find a loving permanent home.

I love Den, Caroline said that he was the perfect house guest !!! Like us humans dogs do not all get on with one another, den had so many races and was raced until he was 7 it is a massive change for him and he is probably used to being a leader and has been in the same routine for a long time???? It is so unfortunate for everyone but as I said like humans all dogs do not get on with each other, it Doesn't mean to say that living with another grey is out, perhaps he just needs a sister or a submissive male , who knows but when I have met Den at the kennels I just fell in love with him, he was so loving, affectionate and funny I just hope that someone gives him a chance as I know he would be my choice if I were looking for another!!! You get my cuddle today Den!! I have dens litter brother and my sister in law has another of dens litter brothers they are both fabulous dogs and so we are all routing for you Den xx

The gorgeous Barney is keeping Autumn company, and they had such fun yesterday playing with some squeaky toys. He is such a character, that rogue ear just has to do its own thing!!!!, but he is so friendly and affectionate. Keeping fingers crossed for you my sweetheart. xx

Autumn is the most gorgeous little girl, with the most incredible eyes and ears. She is such a lively, friendly, happy baby girl and is loving sharing her kennel with the handsome Barney. They had squeaky toys to play with yesterday and had such fun, it was lovely to see. Fingers crossed for you little sweetheart. xxx
