Oh god bless you bee, just look at those walls! I feel Ruth and denises' pain! How the heck does it possibly create such a mess?! When jet did it at the hotel it went over every wall, soaked the carpet and got the ceiling, all the doors, wood work everything was covered, it gets in places you never knew could exist! He created that mess in about 30 secs as I was panicking about how I was going to get it all up but equally I just needed to get him out of the area! The cleaner actually said, as long as your dog is ok it's fine, but we were just really worried that someone had been shot or something! Xxx

Sunday morning we were greeted to a blood bath of a kennel (to truly believe the enormity I’ve added a photo but more than happy to remove if asked…) It took ages for Denise and I to clean it as it looked like a murder scene with blood on the ceiling and out into the corridor! :-((((( poor Beatrice had split her tail :-(((( I bandaged it and the lovely Elizabeth took her to the park after she’d had breakfast. She then enjoyed time in the sand run for the open day and seeing Santa! By meeting and greeting everyone with her very happy personality she then found herself reserved! She came home with me Sunday evening and I took her to the vets yesterday. It took the vet a while to remove the dressing as I was determined it wasn’t coming off! The end of the tail just needs plenty of time to recover so it has been redressed and she has been started on antibiotics. She is such a sweet little girl x

Another cold and wet day but thanks to our volunteers and students the dogs were able to take their morning and afternoon walks. :)) Beautiful Sam went home this afternoon. He looked incredibly handsome in his new fleecy coat, I'm sure his new Greyhound sister would have been very impressed when he arrived home. :)) It was lovely to meet Sam's new family, they were so excited about taking him home. Xxx We had a new student join us today, a warm welcome to Liam. :)) Swift had a visit from her soon to be Dad this afternoon. Not long until she goes home.xx Thanks so much to everyone for your help today! Xxx

Sammy is adorable with her little frosty face. She was a good girl walking on the Cov Rd (the lane was flooded) and wasn't unduly bothered by the noisy traffic. Cuddles for her tonight xxxxx

We were very lucky with the weather today, not too cold and dry until around 6pm when the rain came down! Thanks to our volunteers all of our residents enjoyed morning and afternoon walks. :)) Many thanks to Katarina and her family for taking Quivers out this afternoon and giving her a break from the kennels. She had a lovely time. Xxx Richard popped in with food and toys donated to us by Pets at Home. :). We are so grateful to them for their support. Thank you. Xxx It was wonderful to see ex Daybreaks resident Leo and his family. He came in to use the sand run. He looks absolutely fantastic! :)) Handsome lad Jag came in for nail clipping. He arrived just as Bee was going out for a walk and it was love at first sight. She was absolutely smitten with him! :)) Think he was quite overwhelmed with all the attention from a pretty young lady! Xxx Julie, now called Noa went off to her new home. She met her two new human brothers and loved them! Wishing them all lots of happy times togheter. Xxx Thanks so much to Jan and Jez for doing all the feeding this afternoon. :)) Jez very kindly stayed to help me with Bee's poorly tail. Xxx It's still raining, I do hope it's dry for our Christmas party tomorrow! Looking forward to hopefully seeing lots of ex Daybreaks residents come to visit Santa and give him their Christmas wish list! I'm wishing for forever homes all of our current residents. :)) Xxx Xxx

Bee's tail seemed a little better this afternoon when we bathed it again. She had spent most of the day outside in one of the runs to give her plenty of room to wag her tail without bashing it! It wasn't too cold today and she had two coats on and a comfy bed. She also received lots of fuss and cuddles from visitors and had two walks. Angie is right, what she really needs is a forever home where she can can be spoilt rotten! :)) Xxx
