Jack

Jack done so well. He learned very quick he now just sits when we make food on the sides as he knows he will get a good boy treat for doin it. Had him moaning on and off last night when we went bed but we put the cushions on the floor off the sofa and he was happy then and was flat out all night. He loves all 3 kids especially when they given him cuddles. He been very good on his walks and has ignored all other dogs we r very proud of him for that and also cats don't seem to bother him. He also got him self a lovely Sunday dinner today which he really loved. He 1 very happy boy and were very happy to have him. Thank you all at daybreaks kennels for helping us get our lovely jack xxx

Am sooo delighted to hear that duggie is doing so well. Perhaps we will see him on the 13th October at the dog show at the Solihull riding club. I am sure he's a strong contender for handsomest boy! X

Sparky

Sparky has had a lovely birthday, and is now crashed out in his basket completely exhausted from all the activity! He was so good with all the new people he met, and so well behaved all afternoon. He was so inquisitive & just had to greet everybody to see if they had anything for him! The pilchard cake was a huge success, he has been very spoilt with lots of presents - but he is worth it! It certainly sounds like his spoiling will continue when he arrives with you patsydior, such a busy and exciting time all round. We will miss this boy so much, we have been fostering him since 17th June and he now feels like part of the family, but we are so happy for him to be going to a fabulous new life in France, and he will be more than happy to join in the celebrations by helping out with those burgers!

I just wanted to say how amazing I think Sparky is. 🙂 I spent a lot of time with her in the kennels on Saturday I think between her and her kennel mate con they were amazing. She is so affectionate and loving and all she seemed to want was strokes and cuddles. She will give loads of kisses in return for hugs! If U stopped stroking her she would nuzzle U with her head so U carry on. ! It was so hard for me to leave the kennel. If your looking for an affectionate girl then she's the one. She may seem a bit nutty and crazy when you first meet but she soon settles.shes just excitable and happy to see someone, which is understandable really! Xx

By the way Sparky, just in the process of ordering a new two and three seater sofa and a chaise longue so you will have your own space in the living room but there are two dog beds too!

Sparky, do you realise you will arrive 1 year to the day after Joe arrived here and if you settle like he has then you are going to be a very happy puppy. Joe's birthday burger day is fast approaching and then we have Fire's Gotcha Day on 15th Sept and then Joe's on 24th Sept, same day you arrive so I think burgers all round!

Roxy (Queenie)

Queenie -(renamed Roxy as she behaves far too un-regally to be a Queenie) is settling in well. She is full of beans and we have had no little 'accidents '. She is very inquisitive and seems determined to make the most of every waking moment. Jaylo is a little cautious around her as she doesn't seem to care about who or what she treads on - but they seem to be getting on ok with no squabbles yet. She has a deadly accurate tongue and has managed to lick our feet,face,hands, ears and Owain's cup of tea. ! We wanted an affectionate dog and boy oh boy have we got one 🙂

Fantastic to see the red reserved sign on Juno's photo. We wish Juno and her new family all the happiness in the world. She is just gorgeous. Have three miserable dogs here, but they're getting over it by having lots of treats!

With both a heavy heart, and also a big smile, we have said goodbye to Mandy as she has gone to her forever home! She has been a lovely house guest, but it was great to take her back to the kennels straight to her new mom and dad. Mandy, we will miss you greeting us in the morning with your waggy tail and kisses. You will be spoilt rotten by your new mom and dad, so be a good girl and enjoy your new home. Lynne, Dave, boys, Missy, and not least Norris. xxxxx

Maybe a new photo or 2 may help. I have to say Den is one of my favourites in kennels at the moment. If I didn't have 4 dogs already he would be my choice. Such a lovely looking boy.
