Ruth, a huge thank you for taking Roxy! Her trainer first contacted me but I couldn't find her a foster here, so was thrilled when you offered your help! I'm chuffed she has been reserved already-life can only get better for her now 🙂

So very sorry to hear about Jack. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I followed his ups and downs on the Daybreaks website. He was a real character. I feel desperately sad for his family. God bless lovely Jack. Xxx

Obviously the Yumega is good advice, but Coconut Oil is wonderful stuff and can help with all sorts of things. I started taking it and then have put my 2 greys on it too. (Start slowly with a small dose ie I started with 1/2 tsp & now give 1 tsp) It has helped keep Bob (black) super shiny and has also helped with the bald bum / thigh problem...nice and fluffy now! https://www.coconutoilfacts.org/coconut-oil-for-dogs.php I get this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Virgin-Coconut-Oil-460g-Ghana-Gold-Best-Value-for-Cooking-Hair-Skin-Care/200942381656?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D11%26meid%3D9115687708998291358%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D1005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D190845136779%26

This is such very sad news. My thoughts are with his mum and his human brother who must be feeling vey low right now. Also my thoughts go out to Clare (& little Milly) who I know looked after Jack recently. She will be devasted too. Sleep tight precious boy Linda (with Lola & Lena) x

And if the normal Yumega doesn't work I've had my Lucy on their 'Boost' and also their Showdog Yumega oil which is a bit richer than the other Yumega Oils... it's made a great difference to Lucy's fluffy, tatty coat and like Linda says even Lucy's bare bits are growing fur 🙂 Julie x

Hi. We use Yumega to help the condition of our girls' (Lola & Lena) skin and coat. It's good stuff and widely available. I believe Ruth also sells it at the kennels. Lola has itchy skin at certain times of the year so we use Yumega Plus and it definitely helps. We started her on it after Crufts 2012. She also re-grew hair on the bald itchy patches behind her elbows once we started her on this. I've just put her back on Yumega Plus a week ago as the itching had started again so we think it's a seasonal problem. Otherwise they both have the normal Yumega. lena was Ok apart from being a bit scurfy and she had a great coat but Lola started to outshine her so we put Lena on the Yumega in summer 2012 as well and in Sept she won best black greyhound at The GGG in Nottingham last year so we think it helped her shine and stand out. Full dose for ours is one 5ml spoon twice a day, so a bottle lasts quite a while. There's useful information on their website too. Doesn't specifically mention eczema, but refers to itchy skin conditions. It is all natural and balanced for omega3/6 so might be worth a look. https://www.lintbells.com/products/yumega-plus

Little Angel may be the smallest greyhound I've ever seen but she has the biggest greyhound purr! She looks so lovingly into your eyes with her teeth doing that special little chatter they do when they're happy. She is definitely a people person and loves fuss and attention. She's also happy to lie and relax, just giving a tail wag as you go past. Am falling I love....xx

Morning. Quick question, if anyone can help. Mum (Sue) was given some advice about Stanley's eczema regarding adding butter in his diet. Wondered how much and for how long? Or are there any more tips out there? Thanks.

I have to confess that I keep coming back to the website to look at Max, we fell in love with him yesterday and I feel so sad that he did not react well to the cats- we were so close to deciding to give him a home! I really hope he finds one soon! Cuddles to you again Max x x
