Belle
I’m Homed
Belle was speyed yesterday and was bright and ate well on arrival back at the kennels. My normal policy is to take all girls neutered home with me for at least the first night but unfortunately I wasn't able to. I have been watching her on the live cameras installed at the kennels and she has had a very settled night.

Daisy (Dee)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Daisydog is just back from her holidays in the Cotswolds. We stayed in a lovely cottage with an enclosed garden and had lots of lovely walks across the fields. There was a Cotswold cat which she ignored. Ditto a Labrador. It is a wonderful thing that within 30 minutes she was settled in this new place and was a golden girl all the week. What a difference seven months make! Happy to be home though and snuggled up in her basket. Love you daisydog. xx

Poor Judy had to have more teeth out today and has to go back for a further dental. She is coming home with me tonight until she is back on her feet as she still a little sore from having her corn removed last week and is quite wobbly following her op today.

Tessa
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Sadly Tessa was bitten in the night by her kennel mate so she has had to go to the vets. She is very sore and seems very down. If I had more space at Hospital Boswell, I would be taking her home. 🙁 If anyone would like to foster her for a while - please let me know. Ruth 0121 782 7702.

Sparky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Today I left Sparky indoors behind the dog gate {he could see outside the back door} while I had a go at hacking back the front hedge. He was on his own downstairs for over one and a half hours with just a short glimpse of me after about half an hour as I collected a broom from the greenhouse. He was waiting by the dog gate when I finished and had not barked once. As I type this he is now curled up in his basket fast asleep. He is a pleasure to foster and it is nice to see his character starting to come through, he loves a quiet life. Greys need time to settle in to home life and with patience, understanding and perseverance they make wonderful pets/companions. However not all homes are suitable for all dogs, or vice versa, this is why when adopting, prospective owners need to consider asking for advice, as no two Greys have identical temperaments.

I think I might be a celebrity because my picture is on the Pet Blood Bank facebook page with my sister Ruby. Dad gave them the photo quite a while ago so we were very excited to see they've decided to use it. Do celebrities get extra bonios or cheese?
