Duggie

Duggie is struggling a little with the laminate flooring in the hall. He concentrates toonmuch, spreads his toes and slips. He usually makes it to his food and the front door though, bless. He is turning into quite a waggy dog, plsased to see us when wevreturn.

I do hope Ade catches someones eye. He loved to sit and watch the world go by in the kennels. He has been out in Sutton Park and wasn't worried by other dogs at all. He does get excited at the thought of a walk - hence his fizzy lemon Ade name!! but he soon calms down. Good Luck with your forever home Lemon.

Lovely to hear how well Duggie is doing. It has been a long journey since finishing racing just after Christmas and he did so well at Bark Inn while waiting for his place. I believe he loves his food so if he eats you out of house and home don't be surprised!

Duggie

Yesterday was "a dip in the pond" day. It's just deep enough to wet the belly, so I guess he won't be doing that again! Managed to get him into a bedtime routine after last walkies of 5 min of fuss (Duggie time), then lights out and sleep. No barking or whining at all! He had a great game of chase the frisbee in the garden and is now busy sleeping it off!

Sparky
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Sparky's progress continues, he is really gaining in confidence now and he responds well to you. His personality is starting to emerge a little too - we had some shopping delivered from Sainsbury's this afternoon, and he decided he would help us unpack. After sticking his head in every bag, he found the one with the tins of pilchards in - and helped himself to a tin, carrying it proudly off to his basket!!!!! I know we should have been cross, but it was so cute and funny to watch that we couldn't get worked up over it, and the lesson is - don't leave bags on the floor! In his favour, he gave it up without any grumbles or problems. After that excitement, he's now resting in his basket ( probably dreaming of pilchards!). Michael told me about his meeting with Daisy this morning and how good he was, bless him. We will be bringing him to the kennels on Sunday whilst we work at the Open Day, and are keeping everything crossed that this sweetheart finds his very own sofa soon. xXx
